Ticket Delivery

In the resale we got two tickets for two people in the same order who live at opposite ends of the country. The tickets apparently get sent to the lead booker. Is it possible to amend things so that each ticket gets sent to their individual addresses? Just would like to avoid them having to meet on the way as travelling on different days.

Nope.

I have the same issue.  Four tickets on the order, I'm lead booker, I live near Oxford and the other three live in Kent.

Thoughts at the moment are that either one of them drives to collect from me or we meet halfway once the tickets have arrived as we don't want to risk them going missing in the post (even with special delivery)

Thanks. Yeah think we’ll be doing something similar. We’d rather avoid having to post them too.

Assume they are resale ones like mine are, as in the past when we've got tickets in the October/November sale we've paid balances off separately to avoid this issue.

Unfortunately GFL/See don't allow you to split them when booking on resale.

Oh damn, never knew that. Our lead booker lives abroad and is coming on the Thursday. I wonder if they can re-route them to the box office place.

They might be able to arrange the lead bookers tickets to be delivered to someone else.

I thought all international orders went to the box office?

You might be able to request box office collection if you email seetickets. I did it in 2022.

This may be of some help. I emailed See Tickets last week as we are away in our motorhome from 1st June until the 18th/19th and then head off to the West Country on Monday 23rd. My worry was that there would be no one to sign for the tickets if they were dispatched after the end of May and I'd have all of my photo ID with me as we are going to France.

See Tickets have advised in an email today that the tickets are scheduled for dispatch at the end of May/beginning of June (which is what it says on the Glastonbury Tickets page so not surprising really) and they were happy to change the address they are sent to, to my work address where someone can sign for them.

No idea how it works for tickets sent internationally but they seem flexible enough about changing where our tickets are being sent.

If we re-routed the tickets to me for example, could I hypothetically drop a friend’s ticket off at the Box Office on the Weds for them to get on the Thurs, or is that not a thing?

They might let you, but I doubt it. I'd say the best thing would just be to meet them outside when they arrive.

To do this, would I need to get one of those re-entry wristband things, or is there a no-mans land bit near the coach gate I could meet them in? Thanks

Go out of PGA - get a passout slip (you'll have to take your festival ticket with you) - hand them the ticket when they arrive then re-enter through the 're-entry' gate.

I wish. I am trying to arrange this (two years ago our original tickets arrived when we were at the festival), but no luck so far.

Anyone know the date the coach departure emails arrived last year ? website says this....  All departure times / points will be released to you no later than 30 days prior to the event.

I got mine on 30th May in 2023....however I was on a general ticket last year so don't know if it changed or not.

Its easy enough to change delivery address if the lead booker creates a See Tickets online account and imports the booking. But as others have said it’s probably best if you meet them on arrival

    • Maybe hopeful but get Knocked Loose on the Sunday opposite the legend. Similar to the slot Turnstile had in 2022. Would be absolutely phenomenal.
    • One of my personal favourite bands at the minute - MUNA. Was very surprised not to see them booked in 2023 with their last album but hopefully they'll be around next year. Very fun new album from these guys and, as aforementioned, another standout for me at Big Weekend.
    • Absolutely second this. Were great at Big Weekend and already have a great catalogue of songs forming so far. Would love to see them on the farm!
    • A mixed first day for us. First of all, we were honestly quite shocked that there was no security check at all at the VIP entrance around 7:30 PM. No bag check, nothing. I’ve attended Primavera many times over the years and this felt surprisingly lax for an event of this size. Did anyone else experience the same?   Another disappointment was the communication regarding the weather situation. Primavera has some of the best sound systems and speaker setups in the festival world, yet somehow they were not able to make a single clear announcement explaining what was happening. Instead, people were expected to read tiny messages on screens in Mordor while thousands were left wondering what was going on. A simple and direct audio announcement would have gone a long way.   On a lighter note, this guy absolutely made my day. Sitting right in front of the Estrella Damm terrace, wearing nothing but a long-sleeve shirt, jeans and a pair of Converse All Stars, he remained completely unbothered by the rain. While everyone else was looking for shelter, he sat there wearing sunglasses, calmly watching the crowd as if he was watching a movie.   Absolute main character energy!
    • I think my party got pretty lucky last night, at least compared to some of the horror stories over on Reddit. I was very impressed with Father John Misty in particular.   Perhaps my view would be different if I were a big Massive Attack fan or whatever, but right now my feeling is that if it's not safe for the shows to go ahead... then it's not safe for the shows to go ahead. I'd much rather they were cautious than roll the dice when it comes to something like that.    Here's hoping everyone has a better day today.
