They can’t handle it can they? People are seeing right through them, there seems to be visceral hatred for them.

This is a lie but I do find it funny that the one other thing they care nearly as much about as Johnson is ‘investment’.

That’s what I’m gonna ask for this year for Christmas, good investment.

Investment is the only thing I care about now. If it doesn’t lead to investment then it can do one.

lol - love this - got to do what you got to do 🙂

i lined up a rescue cat a couple of times and then had to tell them that we didn't want it, those rescue cats probably got a complex from being rejected.

Remember Ukraine? After a bad few weeks for them Russia seems to be making gains in Donbas...and I guess eventually they will want to hold onto the whole region if any proper negotiations start to end the war...which Ukraine might not be willing to do...so it will just go on and on...stalemate and forever war and global food shortages and all that comes from that.

so, now Boris doesn't have to resign if found to have broken ministerial code.

Not corrupt at all.

Is this a new letter to the 1922?

I wonder if the changes to the ministerial code will end up working against him such that it galvanises MPs not to wait until the autumn? Or, that we're all moving on now and the piss poor number of MPs submitting letters doesn't make up for the large number of letters that were withdrawn before the Gray report...

Preston got that wrong which he admitted in subsequent tweets. Been some confusion, but seems that not a lot has actually changed.

You are correct. The optics still aren’t great though.

    • Christ didn't even see that!
    • It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
