I'm surprised more Brexiters haven't kicked off about her accepting an invitation to join Macron's European Political Community project for its first meeting later this week.

I must admit I had wrong. I was all for May telling them to fuck off. Maybe she is looking to snooze some Europeans

People starting to show frustrations …. Only shouting …

Fabricant did come out and say that he was on the receiving end of some shouting but that he wasn’t (physically) abused, saying people have the right to protest in a democracy.

Hold on a minute, didn't he originally say the forecast couldn't be brought forward?

With things like this, the researchers provide the research the minister decides when it's published.

I was seeing some posts on Reddit from people who were there. They were saying Mogg etc were deliberately walking towards where the crowds had been segregated.

This is a story of the Tory making. They wanted footage of the crowd yelling abuse at them.

You can see by the smile on Moggs face he was getting what he wanted.

Rees-Mogg also said at the conference he doesn’t mind being called Tory Scum.

Remember the story of the Labour activists at that hospital from the last election and the media blindly going along with it? They've done it before.

Not unlikely … daily Mail will lap it up … it’s definitely bubbling though …

Under Cameron and Osborne we had spending cuts without the tax cuts...it was all to bring down the deficit apparently, but in the end just felt like a cynical way of shrinking the state. Now we are getting spending cuts because markets don't trust Kwarteng/Truss plans for tax cuts and growth. So, I expect some people will like the fact they have more money and aren't bothered about the state of public services, the selfish gene and all that. I guess depends where cuts will be...welfare? education? HS2?

    • I'm surprised they risked it, especially after nearly missing their Glasto 22 slot under similar circumstances  I did see someome say Ellie didnt sound as strong as recently but I'm guessing playing 3 shows in 2 different continents doesnt help that    On the topic though I can definitely see them doing a Fontaines and having a break over winter before a few final Clearing shows next summer
    • That's fair on WA - I did recall people thinking Fontaines would take this year off before this was announced.    On the subject of Wolf Alice, they did Lollapalooza in Chicago on Saturday then Kendal Calling last night. Bit of an odd choice, no? Half imagine at Kendal that they would've been just exhausted.
    • Just logged onto the app to start planning my days and there really are a LOT of stages missing. Apart from the Seaside Stage there is no Casemates this year etc. Apart from the Seaside Stage, there are no Casemates this year, etc. Can't see anything about the kids field really. And there's local acts that are normally there like Kojak's Revenge that aren't appearing either.  Normally we get down fairly early but I can't see anything before 3pm I'm keen to see. Only one real clash as well, which is good, but it's thin and it's not thin in the sense of "I've seen a lot of these acts before"
