They've now had to ask people to stop leaning leaving marmalade sandwiches at the palace.

Fucking hell.

6music seems kind of back to normal?

BBC news site still farcical though. I think it's about 30 queen stories before you get to "other news". WTF is there to say?

Yep seems like they are getting very creative with the number of ways they can say she’s dead!

Given how desperately they always strive for balance why aren’t they interested in talking to the hundreds of thousands of people who would say this should really only matter to her family can we all just move along now?

Think the answer is, we have been planning this for years so going to milk it all we can.

I know a few who will be loving all the historical angle of it all.

I like the historical aspect of it, it is a pretty important event but the coverage is massively over the top.

Did you see the proclamation thing on saturday when the soldiers with big furry hats on took their hats off to cheer, then put them on again? Bizarre.

Yep I just think given Emily Maitlis comments recently about the lengths to which they went to provide balance with Brexit that they could at least acknowledge that many people really are not bothered. It’s a very false narrative to act as though the whole country is in mourning. It borders on  royalist propaganda.

That's exactly what it is, the BBC is the state broadcaster, the Queen was the head of state, the impartiality of the BBC is an illusion, they will always put forward the agenda of the state, it may sometimes be disguised by presenting an alternative view but when it's important they will do as they are told and block any dissent.

Which goes to prove the police are no longer the independent upholders of the law they are supposed to be, we saw it with protesters during  Covid, they will carry out the wishes of the government and deny people their rights when told to.

They are all the same, they all answer the same master. If they were a true independent alternative they would be shut down, have you watched RT lately? oh I forgot it was banned as soon as Putin invaded, can't have people seeing something they shouldn't.

Not believing of that full NWO conspiracy shit … but it is pretty clear that the tories have imposed some laws that are pretty crap and will get worse if they get their way with the European human rights laws . And got some people into places where they can influence in the BbC … the hope is that 2 years isn’t enough time and they can get voted out

The recent Tory leadership race was a choice between

https://www.weforum.org/people/rishi-sunak

and

https://www.weforum.org/people/liz-truss

so whoever got in was a WEF member, no choice at all.

and we now have a king who is one of the main players in the WEF

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2020/06/the-great-reset-this-weeks-world-vs-virus-podcast

Politicians are supposed to be elected to serve the people who vote for them and promote their interests, we now have a world where nearly every main political leader is a member of the WEF and is working to further their agenda, these are facts but people just don't want to know, they would rather believe that supporting one party or another makes a difference, it doesn't, they are all pushing the WEF line.

or they just push their own/ party agendas ?

    • Audrey Hobert getting a lot of traction lately and new single on Friday. Wonder if she could be round next summer.
    • Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.
    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
