I don’t think so. Landlords will always charge the maximum the market will allow. If their expenses go up, they can’t simply up the rent and expect their tenants to magic more money out of thin air. A huge number of renters don’t have any disposable income to eat into and that acts as a lower limit on what they can pay.

But renters do constantly have to fork out more and more to rent. What would likely happen if it became too unaffordable is standards would drop more and more. Look at Hong Kong and places like that. Basically, renters are always gonna get fucked over especially in a country like this

I wonder if Williamson will hold a grudge, he put up that picture last year with him at his desk and a whip on the table after all?

well, he's still in the cabinet...all be it at a job which is seen as a punishment. Williamson isn't stupid, but he obviously didn't give a flying fuck about education. I wonder if he cares about N Ireland.  And I wonder what dirt he has on Boris Johnson.

    • Hi Everyone!   I need your help. I'm trying work out who was playing at The Wishing Well at 3am on the Monday morning at the 2025 festival - this was once the official setlist had ended. The music was down tempo, bass heavy, kept evolving, just mesmerising. Anyone have any ideas? and/or was there as well?
