Brilliant strategy to go on Tv and say you're going to take fully responsibility, then turn turn and sack someone else- just solidifies him as being an untrustworthy to any person that saw the interview. Also said in that interview we need to stop looking inwards and turns round and starts a factional war. Just bizarre and pathetic. His advisors and strategists are so inept, but for whatever reason he's decided to double down on them, so he deserves what he gets when it backfires

Even he can't he and his advisors can't be this thick- the optics of going on a firing free of northern women to cover his failings, when the North west has actually had some successes, especially when they have links to Burnham, who's way more popular than Starmer.

Much as I'm not on the same wing of the party as her, she was actually very good in the leadership contest and a good media performer (which is a rarity among his frontbench).

But John McD has already said he doesn’t think KS should resign, so what should he do?

Raynor is staying Dep Leader so will remain in the Shadow Cabinet, she’ll be offered another role so I don’t think this is as bad as it might seem.
