You dunno how the cards will fall but he is the one guy who probably has what it takes to turn things around for Labour..

Amount of shite he got thrown his way in the 2015 leadership election and now he's seen as being the great manc hope for the party...

He'd become leader then have the same old restrictions and need for compromises and everyone would hate him within 6 months. He's better off staying where he is. Popular.

Don't think this sacking is going to go down very well.

Brilliant strategy to go on Tv and say you're going to take fully responsibility, then turn turn and sack someone else- just solidifies him as being an untrustworthy to any person that saw the interview. Also said in that interview we need to stop looking inwards and turns round and starts a factional war. Just bizarre and pathetic. His advisors and strategists are so inept, but for whatever reason he's decided to double down on them, so he deserves what he gets when it backfires

Too late, all the stories will be she's been sacked, labour civil war etc etc- now he'll look weak and lying when he tries to do interviews denying she's been 'sacked' just 'differently deployed'. Absolute amateur hour.

Now he's going to have a disloyal deputy...like Watson was to Corbyn. Could get messy.

He’s an insecure control freak lashing out at anybody who threatens him.

Both Owen Jones and times chief political correspondent tweeting rumours that Nandy also in line for demotion or sacking..

Drama!!

Even he can't he and his advisors can't be this thick- the optics of going on a firing free of northern women to cover his failings, when the North west has actually had some successes, especially when they have links to Burnham, who's way more popular than Starmer.

Much as I'm not on the same wing of the party as her, she was actually very good in the leadership contest and a good media performer (which is a rarity among his frontbench).

Ah, brilliant so now the soft left are also unacceptable. Jesus!

well...if she is being given a different job then they're screwing up the media stuff and maybe twitter just needs to calm down.

and so it goes on.

She may be the new home secretary for all we know (or that could be Nandy).

But John McD has already said he doesn’t think KS should resign, so what should he do?

Raynor is staying Dep Leader so will remain in the Shadow Cabinet, she’ll be offered another role so I don’t think this is as bad as it might seem.
