@Wellybootย thts brilliant well done you!!! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ’– Its tough going giving up especially at the moment being stuck inside!!! Although I am loving tht I can stay in my pjs pretty much all the time when im not at work!!ย

I think I'll find it hardest when we can go the pub and that, having a drink in the sun without a cig will be weird!ย

Oh yeah the pj days are great ๐Ÿ˜Š but I am really looking to the weather getting better and we can play out a bit! Not be too much longer now lovely ๐Ÿ’–๐ŸŒˆโœจ

I'll be on on Friday, looking forward to it as having to self isolate until midnight tomorrow after notification from the app last weekend. No symptoms thankfully (especially as really busy at work this week) so looking forward to getting out with the dog and catching up with you lot come Fridayย

I know the feeling, I had to do 14 days last year when I wasn't ill or displaying any symptoms. It was so frustrating. See you Friday.

    • Thanks so much - that's very helpful. Someone else mentioned getting a train from Loughborough to East Midlands Parkway, and then a festival shuttle from there to the site. I think they were then going to come back on the Skylink Derby to Loughborough - I assume this is because the trains don't run as late as the Skylink, otherwise they would just come back the same way they came?! Is the transport hub a long way from the main stage? Just wondering what time I would need to leave Linkin Park to be sure of getting a shuttle. As I say, I am sure it will all be clear on the day, even after a few beers! Just hope the rain stays away...
    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident. ย  Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor. ย  That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.ย  ย  Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.ย  ย  Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too. ย  Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away ย  Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had ยฃ2 million going spareย  ย  ย
    • 6music just shared a video of all of Fontaines DC singing along to the Cure last night. It'll be them. Boooooย  ย  Olivia might get up for I Love You though...
    • Would take this thank youย
