DomDom1984
And once again, they'd probably be much better than anything better than the generic shite he could conjure.
DomDom1984
Twenty One Pilots seem to be about at the right time, which is both surprising, and also giving me hope at the same time. Thought they might give it a miss next summer.

You're hardly short of chances to see Kasabian in Scotland, and they booked Foo Fighters in the summer.
DomDom1984
Maybe I'm not that interested in yet another Kasabian headline set. I've had 5 times in the 2010s they've done so at a major Scottish festival. And correctly, Foo Fighters won't be there. And neither will Kasabian actually, given Leicester is their only gig in the UK in 2020. I think James Arthur's a worryingly realistic prospect for this, as a sub maybe rather than a headliner. Arthur definitely has an ego the size of Jupiter so dunno if he'd take less than headline.
DomDom1984
Can we have Harry Styles? His new song is wonderful and his debut was amazing. Add some One Direction and you've got banger central.
DomDom1984
Minutes after that post... can anyone confirm that Harry Styles is headlining this?
gordo1701
Just seen a post from TRNSMT saying “Keep up to date #TRNSMT2020” Could that maybe mean a lineup reveal soon? Remember Summer Sessions did a similar post last year then revealed the lineup. It’s probably nothing & I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not revealed until January/February
Sam Y
The 1975 / Blossoms / The Vaccines Twenty One Pilots / Royal Blood / Sam Fender Billie Eilish / The Script / YUNGBLUD
DomDom1984
Naw sure on Blossoms as a sub. Traditional arena size bands in there and they're not really there in Glasgow. And 1975 are just not headlining. Shame really as I'm not a fan but they're an interesting band who don't rest on their laurels.
Jonesy1
Looks like Gerry C is swerving this and SS to do Hampden, quite surprised at that but have no doubts it’ll be a sell out.

So can’t see 50k outdoors in Glasgow in the middle of the summer being an issue. Still mental though.
kingcrawler
Good move to announce it before TRNSMT have announced anything, as I imagine there's a fair amount of people who would choose one over the other. Probably be loads of people who'll wake up on christmas morning to find Gerry Cinnamon tickets. 50,000 seems like a big ask but he seems to sell out everywhere he plays so I don't think he'll have an issue here. iforaneye
Hampden will sell out in hours and he'll announce another date.

Probably up to him what he does in Glasgow next summer so can't see him wanting to do TRNSMT again over his own Summer Session or could even just go baws out and do Hampden. Could see him co-headlining R+L and main headlining a load of others in England. Called it. Baws well and truely oot.
