Had to look up photos. Falkirk does look like a decent set-up for mid-sized gigs. Certainly better than just a field and no doubt a lot more commercially attractive now that they've built-up a list of past gigs - Elton John, Status Quo, Midge Ure, Rod Stewart, Tom Jones, Madness, Jess Glynne, Little Mix, Westlife, The Killers

Lewis Capaldi a dead cert. 2 other flavour of the month artists  to headline. Probably Billie Eillish and someone like Kygo/Post Malone/Harry Styles.

Thought they weren’t going down the dance act route ie Martin Garrix. Then again, they said this festival was going to be an alternative/indie fest yet they seem to be going for pop and chart acts to play.

If they were going down the dance route, then I wouldn’t mind seeing Tiësto headline.

If it’s a DJ can’t see by Calvin Harris tbh.

Foo Fighters have never played TRNSMT, but were obviously at Summer Sessions last year... European festival dates just announced... too soon for a return, or exactly the kind of predictable move the organisers would pull?

Martin Garrix and Lewis Capaldi seem nailed on. Didn’t think Garrix would be a draw, but seeing as how he’s headlining Benicassim, then that makes him highly likely, given the tour dates.

It seems they’ve swayed away from their original outlook of booking alternative and indie Bands, so I wouldn’t think they would go for Foo Fighters. They’ll go for whoever is popular and will sell tickets for a full weekend IMO.  Martin Garrix, Capaldi and Billie Eillish would be my guesses.

I doubt fans of capaldi and billie give a flying fuck about garrix honestly. would sell well but definitely not sell weekend tickets well unless he is saturday maybe.
