Radio 1 today said to listen to Matt and mollys show tomorrow for Glasto ticket comp information

Did you listen this morning? I missed it but wondering if the competition was today or they just gave details today with the competition to come at a later date?

Yes, not good for the nerves all these false starts.

Yep me to, yesterday I got an unexpected call on my mobile phone,  shot across the room think  ‘could this be it?’  Nope.  It was my bank wanting to discuss my mortgage!!!

I’m emotionally exhausted.

Don't think we'll see one from Carlsberg this year as it isn't being sold at the festival?

I was going to enter Oxfam but you can't if you are staff doing doing a rewarding etc I guess that means.

Also EE is very difficult as it's not my SIM. If there is a way around any of these I'll be happy to hear.

You can pick up an EE PAYG sim for free, but need to put a fiver on it as minimum purchase to activate it.

Okay man I might do that, just from EE shop yeah

I got mine from the EE shop, so yes.  But I get the impression they're available elsewhere, like maybe in supermarkets and Smiths, that kind of place.

Competition closes at midnight tonight though and they contact winners tomorrow on the same number they registered with, so I'll be switching my regular sim card for my 'burner' card tomorrow, just in case...

I never even got a confirmation  email from Stylist but didn't want to try entering again in case it flagged that I had done so twice in my name.

I entered and didn't get a confirmation email either, so that seems standard I think.

    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
