One hand it's a bit of a gamble as they're a long way from being a household name and probably unproven at attracting large crowds.

On the other hand, they should be providing grime with a large platform(s), and if it gets up the noses of died in the wool traditionalists then I'm all for it.

It'll be interesting to see how big a crowd they pull. Obviously The Sheerantor will pull in the masses but how many who don't fancy him will be attracted to BBK?

Literally praying for anyone decent on JP or Park.

Despise Grime!

BBK are Other headliners...

I've not heard much about them, but could someone fill me in on what they've done to merit this?

Grime is currently cool.

So if you throw loads of grime artists on a stage shouting at people desperate to fit in it'll succeed.

As much as I enjoyed Skepta last year on the Pyramid, I'm still without a Sunday headliner.

Aye Sheeran is probably the worst choice of headliner they could've put them against really (I mean, he even pops up a lot in grime circles/videos). Think their crowd will be pretty sparse but hopefully not too much so, but still hoping for Justice on WH to finish my weekend with.

You're not Neil Lonsdale?

Got upset whenever anyone who wasn't four white guys with guitars was booked, liked starting petitions....

Ah ok lol

No no, I get upset when there is nobody Prodigy like or essentially 90's dance playing, although I haven't tried starting a petition yet hmmmmmm this could be an option :)

Sadly that's what I was thinking too. Grime is "cool" right now but to be honest it sounds like shit. I love hip hop and rap but grime is just a shouty, angry mess.

Ed, BBK... Good grief... Hoping WH or JP have something better than this

Not got a clue who they are. Is it the beginning of getting very old when you have literally never heard of one of the major stage headliners?

Haha! I did actually feel genuinely old watching that video posted above. I'm a big fan of hip hop generally and grime when it's not all shrieking like that, but I found myself muttering 'what a racket'. I'll be 40 in September. This is the state of me. Muttering about music I don't understand. How did it come to this?

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
