I'm an unbearable music snob, and not infrequently (cheekily) rude about other people's dreadful taste!

But I just don't get the culture of downvoting someone for having a reasonable, if opposite, opinion to oneself, or liking completely different (awful!) music.

Yes you would Ben!! I am so not a music snob and mainly only know what is on the music box. But I like it and who is anyone to tell me that is wrong? I abhor people that judge me because of my musical taste. Hell, I've just read a thread in which I haven't heard of any one band. In fact, I often feel like I'm in the programme 'pointless' in that people mention bands with abbreviations! Does that make me stoopid? Uneducated? Or just ignorant (in the nicest term) to these abbreviated bands? So I'm getting off my high horse haha! X

I mean, some people keep recommending electronica that's just a slog. I mean, it's admirable but not the kind of stuff you'd actually enjoy listening to.  At least it's not early-mid Muse though...
