I wonder if that Lykke Li project (LIV) could feature? Austra and Mitski could play, but I can't imagine they'll be that high up on the bill. Would also love to see Courtney Marie Andrews on the bill, but again it's difficult to see her too high up. Can see PJ getting a headline slot though. EOTR do like show pretty good diversity when it comes to getting women high up on the bill. But I'm struggling to think of who is big enough to play those headline slots, who haven't played recently. Courtney Barnett and PJ being the obvious ones. St Vincent and Laura Marling probably headlined too recently to be put on again so soon. Sharon Van Etten, I guess, could headline the Garden Stage. Who else? I suspect case/lang/viers headlining the Garden Stage would make a lot of people very happy.

SweepingTheNation
Wonder if Lift To Experience might play? The Texas-Jerusalem Crossroads is being reissued, we know Josh (now clean shaven!) loves the festival, they haven't said they have plans for more reunion dates but I wonder if they might do a few just to put the lid on that phase. Arab Strap have appeared in a couple of today's announcements, that feels like a straight EOTR/GM fight.
zahidf
Arab strap would be a good garden stage headliner. Lift to experience, josh t says in uncut they will only play of someoje pays for 2 weeks for rehearsals and flights, cos they all have full time jobs. I like them but i feel its unlikely. shoebox
Arab Strap are going to be in Scotland for the Electric Fields festival on EOTR weekend. So at least that means they're still playing festivals at the back end of the summer, but it's also a bit of a trek from one end of the country to the other. Can't imagine that they're chartering jets/helicopters to get them around.

Interpol playing Turn On The Bright Light shows this autumn. Nice little gap in their schedule to play EOTR on the Saturday evening: Good possibility that Interpol will be playing Electric Picnic according to some reports online (apparently the initial announcement video included Stradbally as a location, but that was later deleted). Thursday night headliners instead maybe?

Yokel Again
FJM would be ace. That video has got me very excited for a new record. Although saw him in Bristol last year (?) and was a tiny bit disappointed, and still not sure why. Never really got into Interpol at all. COME ON ANNOUNCEMENT! It's the 25th already, only 6 days of Jan left!!

shoebox
Guess we can rule out that top 7 at EOTR then. Not impossible for the non-headliners to be playing, but you've got to say it's unlikely.
