I must be entirely out of touch with music nowadays. I literally have no idea what or who boy better know is or are.

I just had to google them. Sounds like it's a record label with lots of collaborators from the grime scene.

Probably The National. I wonder if they'll get the Pixies/Smashing Pumpkins treatment

I suggested this a while back, the acknowledged headliner but playing 2nd in a set just a bit shorter.

It will be interesting to see the crowd they pull.

Not my thing, but a very good booking. Good to see something different headlining the other stage. Fair play.

Not really, Other sub would have been just right but it's another of those where the topping act isn't necessarily the bigger act.

If The National don't get at least a 60 minute set then we may as well end it all now as all hope for the world has gone.

If the 3 other headliners are BBK/Alt J/Major Lazor, who's more suited to going up against Ed?

None of them. Biffy will be up against Ed I imagine.

Neil's info has BBK up for Saturday other and Alt-J can only do Saturday so they're your subs for Foos. Biffy headlining the other against Ed with The National in support is my bet.

told ya it was gonna be hippotihoppity on Saturday. :P

l'll be at the Foo Fighters 95% but I think it's a great booking for bbk on the other stage and some people will love it, make their weekend.

Still not getting where the crossover is between Ed and Major Lazer but ok.

Wasn't aware that Alt J could only do Sat.

    • It would be piss-easy for a bot to manage, though.
    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
