One of the joys of being an oldie is that the first time I saw Santana was at Glastonbury Minus 1 in 1970.

I'd kill to see pretty well any of that line up who are still alive today.

Could Hacienda Classical play West Holts or possibly headline, considered they have announced gigs in Glasgow, Albert Hall and Manchester tonight. Hearing an orchestra do some House and Hacienda classics would go down a treat

They did a manchester gig last summer. Not sure about the other venues.

Having been to the first one at bridgewater hall in feb- Id say it didnt quite work. 

Cream classical at Liverpool cathedral was infinitely better. Venue helped though.

Played last year as part of Ernest Ranglin's band, I think.
