Tough.

I went in '93, '97' '99, '00, '02, '07, '09, '10, and '11.

1) Radiohead, Pyramid '97. A real epiphany despite the conditions.

2) REM, Pyramid '99. Stipe was like a man possessed.

3) Coldplay, Pyramid '02 Launched my love of one of my favourite bands. Shame the quality of their output has, for me, been gradually dropping off since X&Y.

4) Orbital, Jazzworld '99. Only fairly sure of the year- it was the time that carnival float came right through the Jazzworld field in the middle of their set. Bonkers! :D

5) The Orb, the NME stage '93. Blew my mind. A very low pH that year ;)

Honourable mentions to David Bowie in 2000, early Elbow in 2002 (I think), Doves and Blur in 2009, Stevie Wonder and Thom and Jonny in 2010 and all of Radiohead in 2011.  :)

Memory's not what it was, but off the top of my head...

Leonard Cohen, Pyramid 2008.  Still the greatest.

Chic, West Holts 2013.  Nile Rogers was so thrilled to be there and the whole crowd singing Get Lucky to him at the end was just sublime.

Stones, Pyramid 2013.  Happiest most excited crowd I've seen.

Patti Smith, Pyramid 2015.  Toasting the Dalai Lama with a can of beer was quite surreal.

Pixies, Other Stage 2014.  I know it probably wasn't one of their best, but it was the first time I'd seen them and I loved it!

I love this kind of thread

OK, went 07, 15, 16

1. Bjork- Other Stage 2007

2. Super Furry Animals- Park 2015.  Or do I mean Pyramid 07.  Blown away by both.  I'll say 07 as it was the first festival performance I saw and really loved.

3. King Creosote - Avalon 2015

4. LCD Soundsystem - Other 2016

5. Patti Smith- Pyramid 2015

That was difficult!  Nice to see a couple from each year there.

I can't really gather a list seeing as this year was my first.

Interesting to see most people tend to go for the big mainstream hitters with the exception of King Creosote immediately above (who I would like to see myself).

My gig of 2016 was also at Avalon - The Ben Miller Band
