I am still regrettably ticketless but I wanted to start a thread just to say a massive thank you to all of the kindness and support everyone has shown in my quest to get to Glastonbury. With all the horrible things happening in the world it's been great to see a bit of human kindness. For those that have tickets I really hope you have the most amazing time and enjoy everything glasto has to offer. And for those in the same boat as me good luck in these last few days before the gates open. Let's hope Lady Luck is on your side  and remember there's always October!!!

Yes! That was incredible. I have a video on my phone of him saying that. Didn't he also say something like "All the ladies in Matlock UK are mighty fine" or something?

Yeah I think so, something along those lines! Just bizarre that he was referring to Matlock as if it was a well known city he was familiar with, I found it hilarious.

Ah you may be confusing me for someone else I've not lost tickets just been unsuccessful in my tries to get them or some volunteering. There's been so many people who've tried to help me out in the past few months on this forum so wanted to share the thanks

That's not meant in a creepy way But last time I checked we had someone in our group unable to come. She's about thirty, darkish brown hair. Freckles.

I'm ginger, pale with blue eyes. I'm not sure I could deal with using another ticket  for fear of getting turned away at the gates. I look quite young even though I'm in my twenties so I usually get ID'd at the gates. Thank you for thinking of me with this though  I hope it helps someone else out in need who fits the description

Just make sure all you lovely competition thread people stick around these parts for the long haul. Reading the threads and all the optimism has been wonderful, despite not everyone getting the luck that they deserve. Truly the Glastonbury spirit in action!
