Id imagine they'll be toning it down in Williams Green this year. Was very very packed at times last year.

Seems so. There aren't any mid-card special guests and there are only a couple of main stage bands doing a second show there. Thursday opening party remains but that's only a couple of hours on one day I suppose.

Club de Fromage is always good fun. Was packed in there for that last year though. But a great sing-a-long

Its probably much better in WG than the night its based on in Islington, which is 90% stag and hen parties

I know we have the Dmas info from the EE app but where is the TDCC info from.

Someone on here (can't remember who) said a couple of pages back that he has ties to the band and has heard they're doing one of the WG Thursday sets. Makes total sense so I'm not disputing it

Thanks would be quite happy with that personally as they are a clash with Temperance Movement for me over the weekend.

Randomly posting band names or do you know something?

Something I read, that the chap Isaac from them said they'd be appearing on Thursday night, and WG makes a lot of sense

But one of my mates tells me it's made its way onto that Glasto Chat FB page, which makes me ponder the truth in it

Highasakite is a bloody great indiepop band from Norway, they are on at 18:00 Friday.

Just to add that their lead singer has the most phenomenal voice in live performance - seriously one of the best female vocalists I've ever heard live...

Hmmmm, I do have a massive soft spot for Scandinavian pop. Will have to have a listen!

Sold!

And partially fills the massive friday afternoon/early evening gap I currently have!

Just listened to their latest record tonight, but wasn't concentrating - Child 2 watching frickin' Love Island! However, I think it sounded pretty good!

I'd start with Silent Treatment which was the previous LP. Cracker.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
