Been working my way through the line up on Spotify and enjoying most of what I hear. Going through in lineup order and it wasn't until I hit Newton that I that it all sounded good. Always my go to area and can't see that changing this year.

Stuck around last year after Hobo Jones on the Friday afternoon to see Bare Knuckle Parade. Really enjoyed it but the accordionist had a technical malfunction towards the end which was a shame. Would have liked the chance to catch them again but they're not on the list as yet. Fingers crossed that they'll make an appearance at some point over the weekend.

What's the situation with The Destroyers vocals wise these days? Last time I saw them, the little bloke in the hat had left and the rest were sharing vocal duties, none of them were any good . Still a fun show but it felt like they needed a frontman/woman.

I think I saw The Destroyers in the Avalon tent at G13? Would that be right?

Tremendous fun live, would that have been with...

I was wondering this too. 'Bloke in the hat' left in 2013, died in January. Original fiddle player has left too. Facebook page says that the accordion player does vocals. They played Swingamajig at the weekend, would be grateful if anyone can find a video or a review.

@Rumblestripe I think that would have been without. If they were good then, that bodes well.

First saw them by accident at avalon about 5 years ago. Laid outside the tent in the sun and i heard them start to play. It was enough to make me move my arse and go inside to see who was playing. Was just the ticket for a hungover Sunday to get me dancing again

Haha I can see how they could have that effect. Here's hoping for a nice, sunny, mid-afternoon, non-clashing slot!

Watched this for the first time with a head full of LSD. Didn't have a clue what was going on like.

That could have sent you to a bad place!  Someone I know said they once watched an episode of League of Gentlemen after a night out where he'd had a load of shrooms.  Just started crying uncontrollably for about an hour.
