I think Eavis is just trying to diversify the brand and open it up to Middle Eastern fans. What's the problem?

The problem is what I have just said. For ages now people have complained that Uefa should have never let the World Cup take place in Quatar etc and it's okay for this festival to?

They don't need to diverse the brand, if it was struggling to sell then yes but it's not is it. Tickets are as gold dust as ever.

I think it'll be a great place to have the festival. Having a World Cup is different because there's no passion for the sport. But Qatar has a burgeoning performing arts scene. I think it'll be pretty fun in the fallow year. Plus no rain.

Are you really using the no passiom for the sport in response to the world cup? Do you realize what people are doing and put through over there for it to happen?, how they are clothes from top to bottom in that heat, it's exhausting and will kill.

You know some of the richest oil companies in the world drive Qatar's immense wealth?

Imagine if BP got on board with the sponsorship, the possibilities in terms of artists the festival could attract with that kind of money would be massive.

I think it's great opportunity, Qatar is real untapped market for Glasto. How many Qataries come each year? I'd bet hardly any- now they can.. I've bought my flights this morning anyway before they go up in price.

      Blink 182 have been announced here at Rock im Park for next year this evening so you'd think Download will follow up from Green Day and get them. Be a mad miss if they don't.   In which case I'm going with Blink, Slipknot and the 3rd could be many options. If they get Foos for the 3rd it'll be the best trio I can remember for a long time. It would absolutely rip this years as a trio to shreds and I say that as a LP big fan.
