Trying to convince your wife it's fashionable to celebrate her birthday and wedding anniversary in May instead of late June. I'm a terrible husband Ive missed both in the past!

Ha ha, me too. Our anniversary is 22nd June which is often around Glasto. Bless her, she doesn't mind, in fact I think after 20 years of marriage, I'm sure she thinks that the best anniversary present I can give her these days is not seeing me for a week. lol!

Love her to bits!

I had a mid-20's crisis the other day and started looking at houses near Glastonbury.

Turns out it's cheaper to live there than it is where I am now, but unless the festival want to hire a graphic designer or PR person, I don't think it's a wise idea!

Also I normally have a Glastonbury photo on my desktop at work. People often comment on it and I get excited every time I tell them what it is. At the moment I've got a New York skyline though, I've been dreaming about going to NYC since I was about 8 years old and I finally booked it a few months ago :)

Shit, this one is true and literally just happened to me....

My son loves cream, he loves squirty cream. He's not the most civilised of children (I blame the mother) so he just got a can of squirty cream from the fridge, lifted it up to his mouth and pressed the button.....

God the sound that made reminded me of NOS canisters going off at the Stone Circle!

Making sure you book the Glastonbury week off before anyone else in your team at work gets any funny ideas!!!

When your boss knows to book the week off for you. I try my hardest not to utter the word glastonbury at work, they may beat me to it

I've become one of those Glastonbury bores who speaks about nothing else to friends, family and anyone else unlucky enough to speak to me, and I haven't even been to one yet :D

Samw here and I already feel like an addict. I don't want to know how it'll be after I've been and when the cold turkey period starts...

the Glastonbury dreams

my sleep last night was absolutely full of Glastonbury dreams, i don't think there was even anything that exciting about them it was just me walking round sight trying to get to once place or another

    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
