yep, I've already realised it's possible that for the 2nd year on the trot I might have heard something a year in advance of it happening (as it seems pretty certain now that's what happened with Coldplay last year).

But, given the closeness of what was heard this year compared to last, it's not as likely, I think. I lean more towards the idea that something changed, or nothing has changed.

yep, it's definitely hard to see where they might be playing - tho of course if they were playing, that's how Glasto would want it to be anyway.

This already sort of happened in (I think) 2013 with people thinking Atoms for Peace were gonna be on after the final Park headliner. I knew there was no chance and didn't bother sticking around, but my mate who barely has an interest in Radiohead was insisting the rumours were true and we should stick around. We ended up stealing a march on those people heading to the SE corner.

It was a sound guy who works with one of the acts who played the park stage last year. Mayen they're in similar circles. Not sure I believe it myself!

Honestly, a lot of it is the thought of them clashing with LCD  

Now I definitely don't want them to play if that's the only slot available!

The Park only started finishing early in 2013 immediately after they'd had problems with over crowding at 2011's secret sets.  The plan was to have a secret Park headliner but they'd let us get used to the early finish on a Sunday for a couple of years so it is dismissed by the majority.

 

 I don't believe that at all by the way it is far too tin hat but it crossed my mind so I thought I'd mention it.

Seriously don't do this no one plays at that time. I remember 2013 thinking Bowie was coming out... (I fucking wish he did). The lights kept flashing and giving us hope... but slowly they all started switching off.

I'm with you on this, that would be the ultimate kick in the balls. To such an extent that it would convince me that it was The Nal himself who booked it.

And of course the Park finished half an hour later than the other main stages in 2010 and 2015.  Add in a 30 minute changeover after Grimes and you've got a nice little 10:30-11:45 slot filled with false hope and disappointment.

I can't believe they aren't doing an official stream for Radiohead, Sigur Ros or PJ Harvey at Primavera. The Red Bull TV stream isn't covering them. Damn.
