What if we get the lineup and, including the 'special guests', there's also one less act that usual on the Pyramid Stage that day.

As in, Radiohead get a headline length set and there is one less act on the bill to accommodate for it :P

Poor Richard Ashcroft... bumped again.

While we're discussing set lengths, does the Other Stage headliner generally get longer on the Saturday? Clashfinder (yes I know) has the Friday and Sunday sets down as 75 minutes, but New Order down as 90 minutes? It's quite shit that a headliner on such a big stage would only get 75 minutes.

Clashfinder is very accurate if you look at previous years, I'd check back at the last few to get an idea.

I'm on the train to London to see radiohead for the first time, and there's renewed hope of the Adele sub slot. This makes me so excited!!

Sorry, had to share here, otherwise I was going to have to tell the nice lady sat next to me on the train and I don't think she wants to be distracted from her laptop to see if she too can spot pyramids in album artwork! :P

Have a great time :)

Just comparing the 2014/2015 Other Stage, and the times do vary, give or take 10/15 minutes. On the Saturday in 2014 the first act was on at 11.30am, but in 2015 it was 11am. Also noticed that in 2014 all of the headliners got a 75 minute slot, but in 2015 The Chemical Brothers got 90 minutes. So maybe Clashfinder are going on the assumption that they will get the longer set due to the length of some of their songs maybe? I know LCD have long songs as well though.

75 minutes would be disappointing for LCD. I'd like to think they'd warrant a 90 minute slot.

I don't really see any reason why every Other headliner can't have 90 minutes tbh. LCD, Disclosure and New Order are all worthy headliners for most festivals, so give them a decent length slot. I don't really see any reason why Other headliners shouldn't have the same length, or just slightly shorter, than a Pyramid headliner honestly.

Completely agree with this. I'm desperate for them to get 90 minutes, yet in the back of my mind I'm thinking why aren't they getting 1 hour 45 minutes like the Pyramid headliners. I guess its more to do with fitting more bands in earlier on. That is my one criticism with the stages away from the Pyramid. Last year I seen SFA get 75 minutes, and Suede get only 70 minutes. I would be all for each stage dropping one earlier filler act to give the headliner the set length they deserve.

Yep absolutely agree. Glastonbury is a huge festival and if you're headlining one of the main stages, you deserve a decent length set. If you're headlining a stage and getting a similar length slot to someone playing the Pyramid late afternoon - something's wrong IMO.

Did anyone here collect tickets from the box office yesterday? How did that go, what with there presumably being a massive queue to get in.

Don't know about yesterday, but I can tell you that 15minutes ago I just walked up and went straight in to the box office.

Cheers. Another question, does anyone know how strict the roundhouse is about putting bags in the cloakroom? Website says try to avoid it but at this point it would be preferable

    • Yeh, the quiet camping also seems to be on the same side (broadly) as the bits of the festival that go on the latest (Far Out / Chai Waalahs / RTT until 4am). We're always in Tangerine Fields which is right behind the main stage and as soon as that and Rising Stage are done it's pretty quiet (midnight onwards) which I'd guess is pretty similar if you can hack taking all your gear from the car past the big tree in the middle and into the campsites that side.
    • Can't see Bimble line up anywhere - am I being dense and missing an obvious release somewhere?
    • Not expecting a tour imminently but Peter Gabriel would fit the vibes magnificently.
    • I have but a very long time ago and can remember nothing about it at all. Which I suppose is a review of sorts
    • Addison Rae has 33m instagram followers, Slayyyter 667k. Also 15 to 7,5 million spotify listeners with Addison's last release being more than a year ago. Obviously these metrics aren't everything, but still there is a big gap in popularity between the two.
