In preparation I've put the alternate tracklisting to Hail to The Thief on. Bloody marvelous stuff.

There's an alternate track list?

Kinda like Lateralus by Tool there's an alternate order that sounds as good as the original. If you could share, I'd be grateful, thanks!

Shit me it's Radiohead day!

Annoying that there's no physical release yet. Can't download torrents on my uni internet and I don't wanna pay for a download when I'll pay for the physical release when it's out.

Guess I'll just rely on Spotify until then but I want to be able to listen on the go.

Think it'll be a pay what you want operation?

Yeah I'm the same but someone reckoned there would be an option to pre-order the CD and get the dowload immediately. Perhaps special / extended version.

Certainly hope so.

Thom posted alternative tracklist a few years later after he thought the original was too long. Omitted Backdrifts, We Suck Young Blood, I Will and A Punchup At A Wedding and reordered it a bit. Can't agree with taking out Punchup but the album was definitely a bit overlong

Or I will. Actually I'd just keep it as is.

Not sure tbh. What did they do with TKOL? It was after that album that I got massively into them so I wasn't paying much attention.

Oh that would be nice actually.

Best three songs last. Can't see why 2+2=5 wouldn't be the album opener, though.

A lot of those are tracks we already know exist so I don't think it's real - they'll no doubt include a few songs we know of, but not that many I wouldn't have thought

12 tracks would be good though. Or as somebody said previously, a double album.

someone do a list of Radiohead albums with 'Nope' on it.  i'd laugh at that.

1. OK Computer

2. In Rainbows

3. Kid A

4. The Bends

5. Hail To The Thief

6. Amnesiac

7. Nope

8. The King Of Limbs

9. Pablo Honey

Just realised, after today Pablo Honey will finally not be 8th on Radiohead album lists. A momentous occasion.

Unless the two songs released this week aren't on it and the rest of the album is Catfish and the Bottlemen outtakes, you're right!

That's sad, Backdrifts is one oft favourite songs on there. HTTT isy favourite Radiohead album really. Honestly never knew about the alternate order, will give it a listen. Always thought there, there was an opener

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if it was £425.  If I recall there was a significant jump about 10 years ago and with the prices of gigs significantly inflating in the last couple of years I can see another big jump coming.
    • I think they are just sold out ..... I find it highly unlikely that the entire arena wouldn't go on sale for a band the size of muse straight away.   Theres also some in those blocks on sale on resale sites
    • Personally, I do hope Fontaines headline next year. Feels like it's their time in terms of the contemporary element - I know 2028 could equally be but I think (and speaking as an old git) they are probably the most significant band to emerge for a good few years, and they've already accumulated 4 great albums, let alone adding 5th, to field a memorable setlist.

    • Alright fair, I thought she only did BST once. Though I do question how that type of pop show will translate to a stadium.
