Radiohead touring in 2016

What I mean is, people shouldn't set themselves up for disappointment by thinking Radiohead are going to headline. Based off nothing but pure speculation on here I'd imagine they'll do a secret set somewhere.

 

Expect Adele to headline and Radiohead to not feature at all and you won't be disappointed. Also fans will be all the more happier if they do show up.

Still think Adele is the most likely Saturday headliner? Is that what you were thinking before? I don't really remember.

I hope Neil gets no further info on it and we're at the same point of expecting Adele up to announcement day and then Radiohead get announced.

I agree with Mr Casual on this. Although for me it will be, (if they play), Radiohead into some other act. Possibly New Order. Which would also work for me.

If Radiohead are secretly playing, couldn't they open the Other stage? I know they're bigger than previous acts who have done it, but, why not?

That would also work for me as I am not planning on see LCD, so could walk away from Radiohead in a happy high to whatever else awaits me. Is it April when the full line up gets released? That's not too far away now...

I could see that, I mean they've played on the Park and, at least The Other stage has more space.

Because that slot has never stayed secret and it was utterly rammed for Blondie, one slot after the opener.  It would be more than full for Radiohead.

Plus, it would be shit at that time of day.

So crowded. Rather than going through the back of the Other Stage field, we ended up going through Oxlyers camping to get from Pennards to John Peel for Jungle I believe it was.

If they did a secret set again you'd have that problem where people turn up wanting them to play The Bends in full. 

I have tickets for NOS Alive now so I'm not as personally invested as I was a week ago (although RH on the Pyramid is the dream), although I'm desperate for them to play because I know how much it would mean to you lot. With that in mind, I just have a hunch that something surprising might go down...something along the lines of headlining the Other stage or subbing Adele would not blow me away at this point. 

Essentially we have three headline slots, and every reason to believe four headline bands need to fit into those spaces.

isnt the second stage supposed to be bigger this year? im sure i read that somewhere.

 

anyway, way i see it, there are only two plausible options for RH to play

 

1. headlining sat (if its not adele)

2. opening second stage fri.

 

i cant see them playing second fiddle on the pyramid to muse, adele or coldplay. i  cant see them headling the second stage. i cant see them playing any other stage for h and s reasons. it would be stupidly crowded on the fri morning other stage, but not dangerously so.
