I think Mane may have missed a few, but still played plenty of games. As for Arnautovic he has been one of Stokes key players and I think must have played nearly all the games.

Yeah I don't know the exact minute breakdown but Arnautovic has made more appearances this season than Gomis.

I know they are not the only culprit, but I found the team Liverpool put out yesterday very depressing. As a fan of a lower league clubs you dream about drawing these huge clubs. However you want to see your players go toe to toe with the big names, not some kids you haven't heard of.

You can understand Liverpool doing it to be fair.

They do have a big problem with fixture congestion and a piling up injury list. Also have a much better chance in winning the league cup, so the FA Cup is the least of there priorities.

I am sure the Europa League will take bigger significance, with that being there best chance of champions league next season.

I always loved the Scottish Cup weekend - my team are out ( already ) hence I am sat here 

What would you fella`s think about a champions league place for the FA cup winners ? The " big " clubs wouldn`t fancy it but who gives a shit. Would that not re-ignite the FA cup down there ?

Nah it'd probably have to replace the 4th placed team and we're already shit enough in Europe.

I agree about the Scottish Cup. I guess it's because there's not as much money up here and teams aren't in Europe but every team takes it seriously and it's been good to see so many different teams win it over the last 6 or 7 years, particularly St. Johnstone and Inverness. I was enjoying the Cup today too until the referee made a couple of questionable decisions which led to Dundee United getting a free kick and scoring the winner from it. Can't criticise the team too much given we played well and deserved at least a draw but we had more than enough chances in the first half particularly to win the game so it's hard not to be disappointed.

Fair point. Aye I was thinking instead of the 4th place. Think out of the last few CL English winners the majority hadn't been champions the year before but that's another argument.

Thought youz might have caused a wee upset today kc. Sounds like a close game. Utd have been shit. Pity they seem to have had a change of luck today.

Liverpool currently have 13 "first choice" players out injured, and in the previous game they had three players all go down with hamstring injuries.

I'm pretty sure that if the circumstances had been a bit different they'd have fielded a different better team, but with how things stand Klopp needs to be thinking beyond the match immediately in front of him.

I can understand that Exeter might have felt disappointed with that team, but Liverpool are playing the match for Liverpool and not for Exeter's fans, and maybe Exeter will have a bigger-name team put in front of them at the replay

Well the club may favour the draw, there's no doubt however that most of the fans would have preferred the win. However I'm not sure how you would have categorized  win in view of the giantkillng history. As a fan of a lower league club I would rather competitively lose to a premiership first team, than beat the kids. As I said Liverpool aren't the only culprits or the worse.

While I agree that a win is always better than the draw for a fan and also the result will be part of the clubs history, the opposition line up a influence the memory. When I saw Wrexham beat Arsenal we were beating the starting line up of the English champions. Part of the memory was seeing the likes of Adams,  winterburn, merson, smith etc with that luck of disbelief.
