CaledonianGonzo
Avalon Stage Manager: "For the love of god, people! Why are you all here?" Audience, in unison: "Because of a bloke called MuppetMark".
stuartbert two hats
It's my worst nightmare for doing this. I had a dry run in 2011 where I texted FatYeti with secret sets. I sent him to a crew only bar for a Fatboy set. He got turned away, but might have got in if I'd mentioned the password.
Anderson19
The worst part was they had this god awful solo act on pre 9pm and he was proper playing out to the fact that people had wind of mumford he was looking out the back of the tent panto style. adamski
I was in Avalon for something or other and wandered over to see what all the fuss was. It was haim, and Mumford and sons. I quickly wandered away.
Anderson19
Think the Mumford Haim collab happened earlier that same afternoon.

Winslow Leach
Yep. Merv eat static told me that about a fortnight ago. Assuming that's the 'secret' bit of the Rabbit Hole rather than the main bit? Would like to catch Eat Static but can't make their Glade set. billum
(Off on a tangent- Someone should make a google street view sort of thing for Glastonbury!) Yes that'd be brilliant - send the car in on the Tuesday before everyone gets in, bit like they've done with Pinewood Studios and Kew Gardens. stuartbert two hats
I don't think I actually went to The Park last year, so I can't really picture it in my head... But I'm gonna write this in my notes on my phone! (Off on a tangent- Someone should make a google street view sort of thing for Glastonbury!)I actually checked last week to make sure Google hadn't already done it. Spent an hour walking around the perimeter. Edited June 4, 2015 by stuartbert two hats

musky
Assuming that's the 'secret' bit of the Rabbit Hole rather than the main bit? Would like to catch Eat Static but can't make their Glade set. It's most likely the main bit - they usually have secret sets in there, often by posting a pseudonym in the line up. They'd put up a band as The Railing Staines in 2013 and it was a secret set (can't remember who actually played, but no-one big and no-one I wanted to see). That kind of backfired a bit as there is a real band using that name, so they actually put them on last year. The Blockheads played under some nonsensical name in 2009 as well. It's always worth googling the names of bands playing there - it doesn't give any clues as to who's playing, but if you can't find anything about them could indicate someone who might otherwise pack out the tent. Obviously it's all too vague to be able to tweet, but if anyone can do some digging to turn up the times, we should be able to get most of those added to the list. But I'm gonna write this in my notes on my phone! (Off on a tangent- Someone should make a google street view sort of thing for Glastonbury!) ok, maybe shorter directions to say "stand by the G of the Glastonbury letters overlooking the Park, with your back facing the Y, look forward and slightly right, and it's that small cabin in the corner at the top of the hill" If you come from the stone circle and reach the letters, you've come too far. musky
Apparently Wyles And Simpson are playing West Holts bar, which isn't covered by the official line up. Don't know if this is really the place for it: The Strange Blue Dreams have self confirmed but aren't on the official line up either. https://www.facebook.com/theshiverinsheiks/posts/819012788181448?fref=nf
stuartbert two hats
I feel so ashamed, I never even went to the sign! But I did go to the Stone Circle, so I'll use that as a guide! You won't struggle trying to find the sign, honest.
musky
You won't struggle trying to find the sign, honest. Unless they're moving the sign! It's looking very much like they're putting the Temple in the Park up were the sign was. https://instagram.com/p/3eNza_xCuQ/?taken-by=emily_eavis
