Saw Lekkido - lord of the Lobsters at the Rabbit Hole in 2013... I can't explain it...It's just fun!

I saw him up there last year while waiting for Credit to the Nation to come on. You really can't explain it can you, but well worth popping in for half an hour of fun!

a lot of mentions of Lamb on this thread. while not a massive fan of them, I adore Lou Rhodes' stuff and i think this makes it conceivable you might get one of her solo sets at the Bimble Inn, where her 2010 and 2013 sets were brilliant (2010 far better).

I am proper obsessing over Idlewild now. That was a dream come true them headlining the sunday! Perfect way for me to end my Glasto - seeing a band I have always wanted to see :D

I've seen them twice already this year and you won't be disappointed :)

Thanks I'll keep an eye out for that

For those that haven't seen him before, Raghu Dixit is great live. Saw him at the Leftfield a few years back and he was one of the highlights of the weekend.

Echo that - was at Leftfield that day too and one of my most memorable gigs. Great combination of traditional Indian, folk and western music. Well worth catching and definitely on my list along with I am Kloot

Caught him at one of his 1st gigs in UK at the 100 club. It was a Songkick muck up, supposed to be another band I wanted to see, bought tickets, found it was some bloke never i'd heard of. Though f it, I'll go and was superb as you say. Caught him at Womad later on as well, smoothie that he is :)

Catch him if you can.

I always think that the Acoustic is my natural home but this year it could well be Avalon. A good mix of old favourite regulars, some new faces and some classics. Not sure The Zombies will be that high up these days but I'm often relieved to find some of my favourite acts lower down the bill as it means less likelihood of clashes.

    • Tell me more. Last Latitude we went to was '21 - my son was young & had a wagon so we snuck good beers in that way. I remember there being some Brooklyn IPA on sale which was tolerable - are you saying they don't sell anything other than Carlsberg now?! 😳
    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
