This looks like they are dropping off all of the pyramid staging and sound platforms and the like. Last year they stacked it all on the other side of the stage

I still can't see that those little things at the corners are all of the covers.  I would have thought they'd be bigger.

Maybe they are in the containers?

I guess you guys might know different?

When you look at previous photos… these are definitely the covers. I’d rather odd to leave them out this long though

Looks like lots of activity where The Other Stage will go, no?

Yeah they are putting some kind of foundation on the ground?

They are laying the trackway for the back of stage area and the stage perimeter. Here's the equivalent week from last year, just after they laid the track:

Then here's a week later after they've actually started to put it up so you can see where the stage itself sits in the gap that's still grass:

Just to put this to bed, ME is not driving any red land rovers. Speculate all you want, it isn't him.

IMO it's either Roddy (Shangri La production) or Rob (was in charge of litter picking once upon a time).

Sad times. Been a while since seeing that happy wave whilst hurtling about the place in it.

    • Was volunteering at the Women’s Cricket World Cup at Southampton yesterday. Was great fun.
    • Definitely see this as being 'weak' on paper but could see a few bumps up from previous sets at Download (Don Broco, Neck Deep etc).
    • Very different in terms of time of game,  yet remember how excited I was before the first game in Euro 2016 having grown up not sure I would ever see wales in an international tournament. That day scraped a win against Slovakia and was just happy to see wales score and win at a tournament, little did I know we would finish in the top 4. Hope Scottish fans get the same experience.
