I wondered if it was a bit early for tipis. Soon!

Meanwhile I’ve added the webcam bookmark to the internet browser on my TV. 65 inches of farmland to study.

The look on the cats face is ‘this is all very exciting but who the f@@k is going to look after me when you are on the farm!’

I guess the bulk of visually significant stuff is up now .... obviously lots of tents still to arrive but lots of stuff going on that wont be quite so visible to the webcam watchers ...

I never use it for that either, would be all kinds of fiddly. But it's nice to bring up a large image of the cam.

Based on studying the webcam for the 2019 and 2017 builds, we can reasonably expect to see the following this week:

- The arrival of Leftfield crew. Today saw the first caravan arrive in 2019.

- Possible arrival of Healing Fields crew. The first caravan appeared there on 29th May 2017

- Silver Hayes construction was underway in 2019. Still waiting for the trackways this year!

- The fence is now off cam, which means the fencebuild is way ahead of both 2017 and 2019.

- The last visitation of the spider saw Arcadia crew arrive on 7th June, but it's possible they could arrive this week.

    • It’s probably fairly easy to stay in a hotel but I much prefer the camping set up. It was pretty quiet where we camped but a longer walk to the arena but the weather was nice so not a problem. There’s also a lake you can camp by. Once we got off the tube/train we walked down the main road and turned right (festival site is left) and camped down there.    Do you think? They do have water points inside the arena & where I camped there were toilets, showers & water points super close. I think if you time it right the RiP stage is so easy to get close to the front. Second stage is decent & a like the indoor arena for bands on the 3rd stage. I think all the stages sound better than Downloads too, always had issues with the 2nd stage at Download being too quiet. Even main at some points.
    • Interesting that they’ve mentioned Blink-182 in mail. Btw dates for 2027 are 10-12 June. Same dates as Mystic & Sweden Rock and most likely Download, RFP & Greenfield.
    • Scooter are a meme booking. The Chems aren’t viewed in the same way. They’re a serious electronic act, whereas Scooter has only ever been suggested (and now booked) because ‘LOL look how wacky us metalheads are we love silly music too’.
