just Pilton Party to keep an eye out for in 3 weeks or so .... presuming they dont do the camping in the fallow year ? think its unlikely tbh and they'll want a full year off like previous years

Not sure, but I think there was something in the last licence review that Worthy Pastures wasn't included?

The licence application originally did include provision for WP style events, but that got taken out to appease the locals.

To be honest though, what'd be the point in running it? Would anyone actually go? I can understand doing it when there's bugger all else going on but even in 2021 it sounded like they didn't get the takeup they expected, probably because other festivals were starting back up.

Feel like there would be even less demand for something like WP in 2026 given that there'll be an otherwise full schedule of festivals to choose from and that people aren't really looking for distanced alternatives anymore.

Yes, I have zero desire to go and camp at a festival site with no festival, when there are actual festivals to go to… and I expect most people feel the same 😂

all that remains are the Pyramid covers! Will be a distant memory in a matter of days.

Looks like they are being taken down now. The top was removed this morning and it looks like they are unzipping the front now

    • Aldous Harding absolutely brilliant in Dublin last night. Quirky as ever but sounded magnificent. Played everything off the new album I think, it all sounded fantastic. Band, including H Hawkline, were understated but excellent. Another one to look forward to.
    • Orbital opening the Other stage is a bold choice!
    • Great start for them
    • Thanks so much - that's very helpful. Someone else mentioned getting a train from Loughborough to East Midlands Parkway, and then a festival shuttle from there to the site. I think they were then going to come back on the Skylink Derby to Loughborough - I assume this is because the trains don't run as late as the Skylink, otherwise they would just come back the same way they came?! Is the transport hub a long way from the main stage? Just wondering what time I would need to leave Linkin Park to be sure of getting a shuttle. As I say, I am sure it will all be clear on the day, even after a few beers! Just hope the rain stays away...
    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
