Am I right in thinking that traders start to go on site tomorrow?

If so it's going to be great to watch it filling up

I've no idea really but I'd imagine many will not be there until Monday or Tuesday if they are trading at various events around the country this weekend.

Can't wait to watch it start filling up though!

Excitement levels now at 1000000%, unable to focus at work at all either (note to self, don't set Glastocam as homepage on work laptop next year!)

I just went back to the early shots of the site and compared it to how it is now - wow, what a transformation (obviously I knew there would be!) and its just going to get better!

Whatever the weather throws at us....I will be having fun

Is anyone thinking of taking a massive "hello efests/Glastocam Watchers" banner on Wednesday to see if they can be spotted by the cam :)

Ahh fair enough. When it was first posted up you could do that thing where you could fast forward in time. Massive shame that it's gone.

What you could see in to the future?!  I could've given myself a wave!

    • TVOD are playing Blue Basement in London 2/9 with a complete EOTR/Psych Fest shaped hole before their next gig in Lyon on 8/9. Well received in the Big Top last year, reckon they're nailed on for a secret set in the Tipi.
    • Didn't they widen the entrance last year to enable them to increase the number of pitches or have I imagined this? Perhaps they might return under a different form of glamping?
    • It should forever be the Tipi.   Just as the news about Geese was shared on Twitter.
    • It really surprised me that Rock AM Ring made Download feel like an extremely well organised festival with good communication in comparison. If we were to ever try either of them again we would go for IM Park and stop in Nuremberg.     Agree that the long thin mainstage isn't great, but where the mainstage is makes it really hard to navigate when it is busy because of that choke point created by the food vendors, bar/lounges with a view of main and where the crowd is coming form second stage. The concrete is hard on the joints. The front standing is a pisstake and the communication from the fest about what is happening on site other than which campsites are filling up leaves a lot to be desired. Car parks being a free for all doesn't help either.   I think it really suffers being so far from anything other than small towns/villages that lack proper public transport and Koblenz being the closest town which you can can use to get public transport to the fest being 60km away.
    • Yeah its absolutely on me that isn't think Shinia Twain was an awful choice- i get that.  Im still of the paul simon, ELO kind of thoughts but I realise things change. Im still intrigued what constitutes legend though. Robert plant played and he wasn't a legend slot- to me that would have fitted. Is it a ' comedy ' ' good time ' slot now? Comedy isn't the right word - guilty pleasure or something like that?
