Kasabian also did a big gig before Glasto. Leicester, the week before GF

Different again, that one was. That was basically their own show where they called all the shots.

As I've said above, it's always ultimately the band's call, as no one forces them to sign contracts. But the likelihood is that the promoter will pay them more for his shows if there's not other shows, because that helps guarantee the sales and therefore his profits (and not, perhaps, a loss).

When is it time to re-start the rumour (like last year) that Glastonbury 2016 will be their final ever gig before splitting and thus upset the official Coldplay forums?

too late - there's European shows announced for after Glasto.

It could still be their final ever UK show?? :D

Worst headliners ever

fixed for you.

There has never been a worse trio that this. 2 bands who have played umpteen times and are well regarded as producing comfortably the worst music of their careers. What a joke.

Adele I'm fine with, but 2 multiple headlining acts in the same year? I'm furious.

the other will be getting setup in Amsterdam.

Fucking listen to us!!! It's dull ol' Coldplay!!! Who cares!!!

The worst thing about the suspected headliners is that, despite them being a poor booking, it won't make getting tickets in resale any easier cause they're huge.

Edit: Ok, maybe the worst thing is their recent music, but my point still stands.
