You have to use the coach ticket to get your festival ticket I believe. That's the point

You might have to rethink that - you get given the ticket on the coach.

That won't work, you get given the ticket on the coach.

But seeing as your plan involved depriving someone else of a coach ticket they actually would have used, and I'm in a bad mood tonight, I'm glad it failed.

As others have already said, you HAVE to be on the coach and the tickets are given out midway on route. Part of the terms of the licence is that x number of tickets are "green tickets" - so you can't buy a coach ticket and not get the coach.

I seem to remember this happened in the main sale - the registration page was up for a bit before See redirected it all to a central queueing page. Some people filled out the registration page and left it until 9am, then just pressed 'proceed'. Did that work for anyone?

Did this tactic work for anyone tonight?

Hi all, i'm after some help on Sunday if possible? After 3 tickets. Irony being i'm running the 'those in need' thread for CV tickets in questions, but don't have an entrance ticket myself yet!!

I haven't read the whole of this thread to get my head around any etiquette, so please DM me if you're able to help (or correct me if there is a better way to enlist help).

TIA

I'm hoping that my message may have got lost in the build up to tonights resale. So just giving it a bump in case there are a flurry of helpers out there?

TIA

    • My party again had an outstanding 4 days in Barca. We made the right call to leave the festival site early at about 10.30 on Thursday to get ourselves some excellent steaks in the city. I am with everyone that the organization should have been clearer about what is going on and also if you would like to get rid of some attendees open more exits, they sent us from gate to gate until we finally were able to get out. Biggest 'disappointment' was the beer price, a YoY increase from 5 to 6 is absolutely nuts!!! (i am living in Switzerland so me making this comment says something 🙂)   Top 10:   1. Men I Trust 2. Role Model (could have been first as well, what a great artist and great songs) 3. The XX 4. The cure (the last 90 minutes) 5. Gorillaz 6. MBV 7. Ninajirachi (another big miss of the organization, clearly on the wrong podium and wonder if Olivia's surprise set had something to do with that and they had to reschuffle late the Occident, Cupra and Port schedules) 8. NewDad 9. Big Thief 10. Annastashia      We did 3 years Barca now and for next year looking at the Porto or Bilbao festivals as an option.
    • Personally if it was me now, I would be grabbing a green camping ticket with the knowledge closer when I've refreshed that I can still choose general if I want to....you can't do the opposite!    I would say if you are happy to watch your headliners and big bands further back to be able to see who you actually plan to later then yes it is fine. Its a much difference experience to any other festival especially food wise and camping surrounds.    Once you're in the arena as well you're not going back unless you've got a gap. If I go again I'll be going with the option of not trying to push the front and enjoying further back as you actually put too much pressure on it than the time take away can forget to enjoy other acts.
    • No complaints about the sound. We were like 2nd set of steps facing stage right in like the middle row.
    • On the whole then, yay or nay...I've had a look on festivals united and there's people who seem converted by Rock Im Park, I can imagine it might be different if it was a washout as RaR is tarmac.   The hotel side would be more to convince the non campers if it's an option. On my first visit to rock am ring we were shuttled into the area where you could stick the car next to the tent which was fantastic as it meant zero lugging of camping gear.
