Is there much left to announce festival wise that would suit them other than G and Latitude? Would they be a Bestival headliner? No. 6 may be keen on them.

As much as Mwng is half decent, it would sit low on my list of favourites, Id be gutted if they toured mostly those songs.

I recall them playing Radio 1 Sound City in 99 at Newcastle Uni, they werent touring but were promoting Outspaced (b-sides) album. Awful gig, no one wants to go see a band playing just the b-sides. Band had a proper row during the gig, stormed off and never returned. Security came out to tell us at the front they were fighting round the back. No encore. Disgruntled crowd shouting What a waste of money'

Saw them play 2 gigs in Cornwall supporting Heavy Stereo before they had signed a record deal. At the second gig in St Ives there were more people in the bands than in the crowd. There were 7 of us watching.

Afterwards I went to chat to the t-shirt guy to say how much I liked them but was sure about the vocalist. He explained that everything was in Welsh, which was why I didn't understand anything.

He then went on to say that Creation were talking to them but they didn't want the band to sing in Welsh which pissed the band off and that they were holding out for a clause where they could have a certain number of songs per an album in Welsh.

Seen them a few times since, sometimes they've bored me senseless, other times they've been truly amazing. Good to have them back.
