No idea, but I wonder if he'll need a new head to keep under it after Melvin's had a word.

We should now run a sweepstake for how long those tweets will remain there. :P

*would upvote if I could* :)

Nope, it was about Download not booking HAIM, so I was on about there lol.

As for Leeds, bar Leeds Friday/Reading Sunday it's bull.

Oh yeah, Sunday at Download is very mixed, Iron Maiden and Disturbed are all I care about on Main Stage

its been done.

I've no idea how much sway Melvin might have over Copping, but Download now comes under Melvin's brief and even if Melvin thinks 'fuck efestivals' i suspect words will be had

This hasn't settled down I see

I think he's taken too far to back down now. How small minded can you be that you turn down free publicity, content, backlinks, and ticket sales?

I see Andy is 'heartbroken' at losing his employer's money, just as I'm heartbroken about losing his employer's money.

Oh well, how sad, never mind. If that's how it is, that's how it is. No skin of ours.

He's probably thinking the same thing about efestivals losing the traffic from Download patrons.

I've said it before, but anyone who gives themself a nickname and continues to refer to themselves by that name despite despite nobody else at all using it is fucking tragic.

thing is, the opposite is true.

By removing Download we're saving ourselves money. He's losing £200 a ticket. I'm quids in.

Let's not forget that he named a stage after himself (well his shitty nick name that is)

Also love the 'they run things without the official word all the time' accusation - that's what rumours are you fucking muppet.

but the laughable thing here was that we did work from the official word.

The result is that every insult he's trying to throw at us are actually hitting his own staff and demonstrating his own incompetence.

Any chance of Saint Raymond being added? Can see his stock rising in the coming months in a similar way to Catfish's last year

I hope so! I was pretty interested in catching him last year but a clash with Limp Bizkit meant I had to pass him up. Low-ish NME is where I think he'll next play.

Don't see him rising near to where Catfish's has, but I could see him low to mid on the NME

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
