Is there any reason Sum 41 wouldn't have been announced? That Kerrang tour finished well before the announcement didn't it? They're around at the time and I don't really get why they wouldn't have been announced. Maybe they're playing Hevy or something instead.

Don Broco will probably be announced after Download along with a load more of their acts.

I'd really be gutted if Sum 41 weren't announced, they were my original favorite band - and I've never got around to seeing them live. Gave the Kerrang tour a miss as the closest place was an hour and a half away, the supporting bands weren't really my thing & I assumed I'd be able to catch them at Reading...

Does anyone know if Jamie T is playing the Thursday Night at Leeds on that Bands In Town app it has him as playing Thursday 25th August but I always thought the Thursday bands where announced a lot closer to the festival

Which bands would everyone like to see added to the lineup; I think it's good but I feel a couple more bands across the weekend could make it great.

I'd personally 2-3 of: Don Broco, Deaf Havana, Sum 41, Arcane Roots, Django Django, Peace, The Hives

Out of those I could definitely see Sum, Don or Arcane Roots slotting in, not sure about the others...

One or two from; Brand New, Thrice, The Front Bottoms, La Dispute, Drenge, Sum 41, Death From Above 1979, Mac Demarco, Jimmy Eat World, Genghar, Fidlar and Tame Impala would do me very nicely but I'm pretty happy with the lineup as it is to be honest.

Realistically with the spaces we could have left in the line up:

Sum 41, Good Charlotte, Don Broco, Mallory Knox, Marmozets and Feeder (Feeder are IoW exclusive but I can still pray)

Since when is the welfare system a good thing? I'd be humiliated if I had to take money of off the government to be economically survivable. We need to be spending much more time in teaching people (good) money management, and financial literacy, it's a joke that people don't understand how to manage their own money to live comfortable lives and not paycheck to paycheck. I currently have 3 months of paychecks saved up and only worked for 10 months. It's really not that hard.

Again, since when was the NHS and other 'public' services a good thing. We seriously need to get out of this idea that the NHS is fantastic and a good thing, it's really not, there are far better ways to do health care. It's 8.50 an hour, and yes I do live by myself, it's called living below you means and taking advantages of other income streams other than your main one, usually a job. I understand the point of welfare yes, it's for leaches to suck on the government teet with no ambition. Private charity is a far better way to look after the needy. It's like pensions, at one point in time we didn't have pensions, but old people still survived and retired and got on fine, I wonder how they did it?

Cousins sharing computer ruled out.

Haha, I've got no idea what's going on. It's trying to make me reset my password on this username. When I log in on my new phone, I reset it and it logs me into an account I had about 10 years ago. What's the email address to get Neil to take a look please?

    • I read the Kerrang review and they didn’t seem overly positive. The definition of a 6 out of 10.
    • Interesting the stat guys say 3 points and -3 goal difference is where it gets to 50/50 territory in terms of going to the last 32. If Scotland lose their last 2 at best they are on -1, play like they did yesterday and they could take a heavy loss.   However thinking about it positively get 4 points from the last 2 games and the group is won! Have heard a few saying Scotland should just park the bus next 2 games, but not sure they have the players to do it. From my perspective they could really do with a decent defensive midfielder to add balance, but not sure if they have one in the squad. They also need significantly more from Mctominay who I thought was poor, but understand he has been unwell.
    • Yup and they aren't all going to get them, some are going to miss out. Speaking of this, I met someone at RIP who went to RFP and his view was band wise it's value for money but it wasn't a festival itself he'd be rushing to return to. In fairness as well he probably liked more of the headliners there than me this year whereas I was more undercard and he wasn't returning.
    • Maybe Starmer's legacy will be a war with Russia.
    • How were GnR? Seen some videos and pictures and let's just say, the crowd to the sides at the front and in front of the sound tents were let's just say... Sparse compared to LB.
