Hadn't considered Beck as a possibility for Glastonbury, would be great for me as missing Bestival last year was made worse by his appearance.

i never know where to place Beck on the lineup. he's a weird one.

Not sure where I'd place him either, West Holts would be great but not sure he is natural fit.

Day time pyramid - which would be a shame. Or headlining park, jp or acoustic which could end up being too busy.

i don't see him on the Pyramid myself. don't think he's had enough recent success / lasting success to really hold a crowd there. i'm with zero in that i think headlining West Holts would be best. he may not be the best fit for it but it just seems right to me

not nearly big enough these days. it'd be brilliant but he only headlined the second stage at Bestival (and on the Thursday, no less) so i don't think he could do the same for the much bigger Other

you think? I thought morning phase was well received and sold lots? I'm probably wrong like

yeah now you mention it i just looked and it reached 4 in the charts which i'd totally forgotten about. still unsure of him headlining Other though. i just don't think he'll have a big enough pull with the Glastonbury crowd. would love to be proven wrong though as the man has enough great songs to fill that slot ten times over

Size wise I think that's perfect but they'd never book him - unless eavis told them to like Brian ferry.Hes not the right fit for west holts.

An upbeat, hit-filled set with more focus on beat-driven hip-hoppy albums like Odelay and Midnite Vultures than melancholy balladeering. I don't see why not.

A Morning Phase-focussed set, not so much.

I was still finding a spot/pitching my tent when he was on at Bestival :(

So yes would love him at Glastonbury, would headlining John Peel be out tottally out of the question? Think the smaller/enclosed space would suit him more than the Other stage.

I am really not sure how big he is!

Agreed. Debra is my all time most favourite karaoke song! Would be smashing to hear it at Glastonbury (sung in tune :))

Have any of you beautiful people been to Coachella? is it anything at all like Glastonbury? or just a pretty V Festival in the sunshine?

about the only similarity to Glatonbury is that there's bands and stages there.

V is more like Glastonbury than Coachella is.

at least at V you can bring a drink to a stage and don't have to drink it in designated bar areas...

Which is pretty much what he's been doing:

It makes me so angry when they do this... and then wonder why everyone takes drugs? They must make a lot less money on the bar, makes no sense.

Bonnaroo announce their line up at 11 and a load of their line up last year also played Glastonbury.

It'll be interesting to see who they've got, but there was very little crossover last year: http://d2j6ndaroqwcar.cloudfront.net/sites/default/files/content-files/images/Broo14_AdMat_RGB_v8.jpg
