great song. album's sounding very promising, although i'm still waiting for another banger as good as The Mother We Share (although to be fair, i don't think there are many songs in the world that reach banger-esque levels like The Mother We Share does. god i love that song)

ah man really!? definite highlight of the album for me along with The Mother We Share. was surprised that it was never released as a single as i thought it was so ridiculously catchy

Another decent song from Chvrches. Really hope they play Dead Air on their tour, it's a cracker. The new album is shaping up nicely too.

you definitely should - it massively surpassed my expectations and still fills me with glee when i listen to it now two years later. shame about the two Martin-led tracks which, despite not being terrible, i've always felt hold the album back somewhat. i'm sure there'll be some on the new album but i hope they're a bit less of a downer

What's the new Ought like? Out of touch as away on holiday

 

havent given it too many listens as other albums got in the way, but it's really good! don't think it's quite as good as the first one, but some belter songs on there (Beautiful Blue Sky quickly becoming one of my favourites of the year. can't get it out of my head)

haven't listened to it very much but i (regretfully) agree, it hasn't really grabbed me either. i'll persevere with it but i'm a little disappointed thus far
