No problem at all, I'm 22, still a youngster, so even without the miscellaneous I can still drink my way through to 4/5am usually without any problems.

Particularly Midland and Palms Trax for me, so go for the toilet (this won't be an easy task by this point of the festival let me tell you) and if need be jump out between them even if it means queueing slightly to get back in. Though I'm not certain il need to go

Yeahh, I suppose a break midway through and re-queing is most likely.

I always thought you were older than me, tho now I think about it I have no idea why.

I'd often wondered if I came across older than what I was around here, I've been going to festivals and the like for 6/7 years now, so I consider myself a dab hand at it even though my best years are in front of me. I'm not sure I could even guess your age, I'd hazard a weary 25 maybe?

i anticipate a LOT of failed toilet breaks between venues on every night. hopefully by the Sunday me and my friends will've realised that trying to go for a piss is useless and will just persist through the couple of hours in the Temple if we can

Genuinely not sure if that's a typo, could be meant either way! I'm 23.

i'm 27! but still managing to do the all nighters just fine, although the aid of narcotics is definitely needed these days - if it was just booze i'd be out for the count much earlier i think, or just forget the night entirely

I'd probably have put you about that actually I think

Im going to need to procure myself some kind of noticeable tshirt or something, to go with my noticeable long hair, so people can bump into me in a condition at stupid o'clock

Hopefully we can get a set arranged where we meet up together, be good to meet you fine people

Defo on for that, Mez. I may be one of the senior members, but I won't let the side down, trust me...

My recent marathon time speaks volumes...!

What about Eats Everything B2B Ellis Dee at Arcadia on Friday?

Worth considering for me?

I really enjoyed Arcadia last year and I think this is about my only chance (in terms of what I like and clashes - I'd love to see Daniel Avery, but I 'have' to see bands all day...)

What d'ya reckon, kids?

ATM I have options in that slot of Maceo Plex at The Blues and DJ Yoda in Pussy Parlure.

Help!

Ben

EDIT: am liking Mano Le Tough a lot!

I shall be under that spider dancing holes in the ground at Danie Avery, there's nothing clashing with him that would pull be away from that kind of magic.

Aww Benjamin, Mano Le Tough is the only option, accept no substitute, Maceo Plex is playing The Beat Hotel directly before him, there's no need to aggrevate your senses with the lack of good sound at The Blues, just get to the BH and dance the night away

It's all falling into place nicely, actually - Friday late is looking like:

Sigur Rós > end of Protoje (Gully) > Mano Le Tough (BH) > Seth Troxler B2B Martinez Bros (LBHQ)

Quality!

Hunky Dory, Fuckanory!

Dubfire: Live Hybrid looks amazing!

This might be just the answer to my lack of interest in the Sunday night headliners.

I'm gonna watch Mac DeMarco up in JPT, because he's ace, then was thinking about Ephemerals in Pussy Parlure. But maybe I just head to Glade via the back of LCD for Dubfire, before Plaid and then hit up the Temple until sunrise.

Oh, this is getting seriously busy...!

:)

Just turned 32 here, although still getting ID'd but less frequently now :(

Definitely do t have the same knack of being able to party until the small hours, drugs just don't seem to work on me that much anymore!

So for me it's quite a carefully planned decision about when I want to peak!

Hoping us lot can meet up for a dance.

Dubfire is always top. I haven't seen the live version, but seen him 5/6 times. The only reason why I am thinking of watching Cyndi Lauper then Arcadia is the fact I have seen Dubfire so often.

See, I saw Sigur Ros on their last tour, and yes, it was absolutely fantastic, but they're only playing with 3 now, and il miss the start for the end of Daniel Avery, so I may give it a miss and head straight to the beat hotel, while it isn't completely mobbed, and squeeze my way into a nice spot

This is why I am thinking Underworld will be a better bet for me. I'm going to be at the West Holts watching Roisin Murphy earlier, so I think I'll just stay there.

What kind of crowd do people think Underworld will get? Disclosure will take a few off it and so will Muse. Saw them around 8 years ago and really enjoyed them and never seen a WH headliner, so I'll pop that cherry so to speak.

I think i'll be seeing Underworld too. It's just how I want my Friday night to be.

Last years Hot Chip set on West Holts and the crowd were perfect, so hoping for the same. The addition of screens this year should make sets even better imo.

I think they'll do alright, there's definitely an audience there for them

im keen to be in and around the beat hotel area in the Friday, so I may even swing my head past Disclosure for 10 mins or so after Daniel Avery, I don't hate them - actually their latest record wasn't half bad

It'll be exactly the same.

Except that last year we were the discerning, beautiful Friday Night People.

And this year we'll be at Sigur Rós.

So the same, but different.

;)

    • It was never going to be great was it, there is comments of Mickey Mouse all over socials lol which is very similar to Glastonbury.  Someone I know from RIP watched Welcome to the Jungle and left and they went saying they've got to see GNR. It was the only day not to see out as well.
    • I decided to goto bed early for the Aussie game rather than stay up for Scotland. I don't regret my decision, I also love the complete over reaction during the world cup when a player has 1 good game, that Watford winger is now everyones dream signing. Its also funny when clubs get into the hype and end up overpaying for someone who then does nothing in the prem.
