You got Mike Servito! ;) Real solid selections week after week. Gonna head down a couple times hopefully.

Sonar...

Line-up_BCN-WEB_1318px.png

Andy Stott (live) in the Glade would be outrageous. Also Hunee b2b Daphni coming to a Hotel near you.

I got Denis Sulta too, that's where the plaudits end

I'm thinking of going to sonar this year but weary it's a but close to Glastonbury

Pbar is superb, try and get over I would recommend it! RJ is seriously on my hit list in a big way. Frankfurt is probably a good weekend break anyway

I've tried, sadly got turned away. This was at 5am however. Ready to give it another shot at some point.

Hunee and Daphni at Glastonbury would indeed be a lot of fun, i think Daphni is pretty likely but find Hunee hard to judge, hopefully he is there

I'd be pretty surprised if Hunee wasn't there really. He's all about playing places with a nice vibe or community spirit or whatever.

I cant see them playing together again though, think it's the first time they're playing together at Sonar.

Hope you're right

Wouldn't be fussy about a b2b, them both playing in any form would be great

Rarely a time I'd rather a b2b than two separate sets but given the Beat Hotel's history for somewhat unseen b2bs... But yes, Hunee, in any form, and I will be there.

No surprise to anyone but Bicep, Jackmaster and Artwork will be at the festival this year :)

Right, need your help Matt as I'm old and hang out in Avalon.  Point me in the direction of some Artwork tracks would you?  Trying to do the playlist and Artwork is confusing the bejeesus out of Deezer

I hadn't even thought of Thursday as an option...is it not crazy busy Thursday as the main stages aren't open yet?

Question is how ruined do I want to get on a Thursday, can't peak too soon ;)

Thursday can sometimes throw up some SEC treats - they're just scheduled frustratingly early, presumably as part of the noise regs throughout the entirely of the five days.

Bicep played Genosys in Block 9 last year on the Thursday. I know that's not the House you're looking for, but they were bloody good and meant I got a good set under my belt before even getting to the Friday!

Still not putting it on the playlist!

Factoid number two. DJ Izzy B, who worked with Beddingfield on this and some others, was Facilities Manager at one of the companies I used to work for. Again, I shit you not!

Artwork is an absolute stone cold legend isn't he! That podcast is one of the all time greats.

Caught some of his set when he was playing as Grain back at Eats Everything's 8 hour NYD set in Brixton, absolute sweatbox of a room, utterly fantastic.

I'm not too big on artwork but if you're after good disco/upbeat house, Move D, Hunee, Mall Grab, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Jeremy Underground, Beautiful Swimmers, Pender Street Steppers, Peggy Gou are all good shouts.

check out moxies NTS shows while you're at it too! She plays glasto every year and she always gets some cracking tracks sent to her

Everything's too busy on the Thursday for me, just prefer to plod about and go about getting fucking blootered

I had a wonderful Thursday last year. I think it's one of my favourite nights of the festival because it's all about the DJs and getting trollied

I always feel like I mostly fail at going out on a Thursday. Pretty much always up for it but don't really know where to go which results in wandering aimlessly ... not necessarily a bad thing at Glastonbury but still.

Saw netsky a few years ago and had a great night , paid for it on the Friday mind.

Heidi and Seth Troxler b2b Tiga were excellent at Beat Hotel on the Thursday last year. One of my favourite Glasto nights... until the Brexit result broke out and I ultimately crashed down.

AFAIK he's mostly a DJ, very few actual tracks to his own name. he had an EP out ages ago called "Red", track names are Red, Rolex Riddim, Rank and Round Sound. wouldn't be surprised if it's not on Deezer though.

Red (the track) is on FabricLive 63 (mixed by Digital Soundboy System), Bugz in the Attic's FabricLive 12 mix,  The Roots of Dubstep compilation 2006,  and Ministry Of Sound's "Sound of Dubstep" compilation from 2010.

e: Rank is on Miss Kittin's Bugged Out Mix from 2006.
