I might be over thinking things here and hopefully someone can help, the beat hotel fired up the instagram again today, and they tagged a variety of acts in a post. I know for a fact a lot of them have previously played it, but there is a one or two that im not sure if they have or can't find anything about it online.

Has Roman Flugel ever played the beat hotel?

They've also just followed a truck load of people. Can't get my bloody phone to list em chronologically tho.

just been trying this for the past couple mins, including Alan Fitzpatrick and Maya Jane Coles, both of which i would have thought would have been unlikely to play the beat hotel

I messaged The Beat Hotel on instagram and said you've tagged Roman Flugel on that post and he's never played Glastonbury, hope you haven't let the cat out the bag. They replied with the emoji thinking/stroking chin and a thumbs up

If we were starting off with Ben Ufo, Roman Flugel, Jackmaster, Artwork, Midland and Bicep before a balls been kicked. With Mano Le Tough seeming an obvious returner after cancelling, 2017 could be an exciting year for electronica

True... but still holding out for a few new names. I say it every year but really hoping for some of the likes of Moodymann, Omar-S, Palms Trax, MCDE etc.

Whatever, this is all quite exciting as Beat Hotel are typically one of the last to give any hints.

You couldn't have given 4 names that reflect my wishlist any more, genuinelly. Throw Shanti Celeste and Hunee in there and I wouldn't be able to control myself

Hopefully Midlands influence might see Shanti/Hunee/Call Super/Honey Soundsystem in the Downlow, maybe not them all that would be wishful thinking.

Moodymann would be especially good on Genosys I think, Omar-S can play anywhere he sees fit.

Jeremy Underground would be cool in The Beat Hotel

DJ Koze anywhere at anytime remains of viral importance

I'm getting carried away :(

Saw Omar-S the other day, he was great!

Can't argue with the names being dropped here. Some pretty unlikely, but if a 400 capacity gig venue in New Zealand of all places can book Omar-S then there's no reason why Glastonbury shouldn't be able to get these kind of names.

I mean, money is the reason but still.

Got my ticket! On ticketswap they're so expensive now, two years ago I picked one up for face value easily on it. Maybe the price will go down nearer the time but there's so much hype.

Also the call super and objekt clash with hunee and antal is a fucker

That Dekmantel line up... No chance of getting there this year though. Have promised my partner I'd go to Wilderness with him. Crap.

Yeah I've missed the boat, would have loved to have gone as well but just wasn't going to work financially

    • Very different in terms of time of game,  yet remember how excited I was before the first game in Euro 2016 having grown up not sure I would ever see wales in an international tournament. That day scraped a win against Slovakia and was just happy to see wales score and win at a tournament, little did I know we would finish in the top 4. Hope Scottish fans get the same experience.
