theDandy
http://www.efestivals.co.uk/news/14/141030a.shtml Playing at Rokslide at the very start of July, could potentially be at Glasto then? Pyramid subber maybe?

brettredmayne
Would he a great sub, is he big enough to headline other?
Keithy
Would be awesome if he bought along the rest of N.E.R.D. too
5co77ie
he could headline West Holts or Other - but I think he'd prefer Pyramid for his 3rd visit. I assume he appeared with Neptunes and N*E*R*D when they played.

neil999
be a good other headliner opposite fleetwood mac or similar? BUT i reckon glasto and him would want max exposure which would come from subbing pyramid(or obvs headlining but i hope that isnt in their thoughts...) The 38 year old virgin
I love the nerd stuff, but because he associated himself with that horrible blurred lines song, he is, in the words of the wonderful russy, a complete throbber
Gucci Piggy
Is he too big to play 3rd down on Pyramid if Ed Sheeran can?
5co77ie
This may not be so clear cut. It looks as though Pharrell accepts offers one at a time, rather than block-booking time in one continent or another. He's always jetting in and out of the UK for random stuff, so unlike most American artists he's happy to do, say, Roskilde on the Saturday but New York on the Tuesday. teamsofa
Remember when NERD played a few years ago? Sound problems meant they were late coming on stage and had their set cut short. Pharrell mentioned that playing for "250,000 of you guys" blew his mind. I felt a little sorry for them when they launched into one final song, only to be turned off after about 10 seconds....... It was pretty funny. Not sure if he's the sort to hold a grudge?
ryan.smith
We thought we'd missed the first 20 minutes, walked on to find it was the first song. Pretty good I thought

Matt42
He's quite a small headliner for rosklide, don't think he's headlined a festival before? Could that mean they've booked him as a headliner to save some bucks, and probably have a big band like foo fighters as another headliner. billum
Pharrell's not the greatest live performer in my view - at iTunes fest recently his set was pretty dire, with very shortened versions of all the big songs he'd been associated with (to what appeared to be a pre-recorded backing track, to the embarrassment of the musicians on stage behind him), interspersed by blatant Apple ads. ("Guys, it's time we talked about..... devices!! Tablets, desktops, phones!!") The best bit probably was when he got Shay Haley on for a bit of NERDiness. Oh, and the dancers. The dancers...!! (...no, actually the best bit was Jungle as support - superb!)
russycarps
christ I can see this c**t actually headlining, especially now fleetwood mac are not doing it.
russycarps
Be careful what you wish for.... You were always against the mac so you should be happy. I've given up on there being a headliner I like on the pyramid this year so I couldnt really care if this tit gets the gig. I'm more concerned about the other stage headliners. FloorFiller
nah no way Pharrell will headline. he may be a huge name at the moment, but he (surprisingly) didn't even headline Wireless this year, and his live show is shocking. not a headline act at all - a novelty act for lower on the bill
