if they made them with white chocolate, i'd be an addict.

and i know that white chocolate isn't even actual chocolate!!

I get the urge for white chocolate every so often, but generally eat dark chocolate afterwards to emphasise the chocolateness.

I'm thinking these clouds must empty soon. I have an allotment inspection tomorrow, poncho-time methinks.

Just Milky Bars. And they're not even real white chocolate which isn't real chocolate.

Today is a fucking shit day

Do you know what's really weird. I've only heard or read a couple of people saying that it's a good day. That they are glad that we have blue cabbages. So who/where the fuck are all the people who do like them?

Is this all a dream?

Last post on the subject.

Probably

Ive got home, ive opened a few cans of cider and im drowning my sorrows.

The election result was a bad start to the day but things plenty worse since

Work picked 3am today to send letters round telling people they were in scope for voluntary redundancy and meetings were taking place next week when the window opens for a month

I lost my wallet with over £200 in it, it was bill money so they little i had put aside for glasto has all gone

My dad was at the specialist whos basically told him he's too fat to have the operation he was would benefit him, and he's on the top of his medication so theres not much left for them to do that will help him.

And i had a crap day at work, missed my connection home and got the wet stuff dumped on me while waiting for the next one.

MrsCJ said it's Eurovision this weekend (is it?) and we're watching it in the van when we go away. I said I wasn't bothered about it, until I remembered those Polish washerwomen from last year. Note to self - shut up more.

lol

Eurovision is Bank Holiday weekend. I have the date in my diary cos it's one of my favourite nights of the year :D

That is a lot to deal with. Hope you're feeling better tomorrow, after chatting with Mr Bulmer and Miss Woodpecker tonight, and things get sorted for your dad.

So sorry that you're having such a dreadful day, thurlow.

Try to keep your chin up. I hope the Glastonbury Light at the end of the Tunnel can make you feel at least a bit less fed up. And yes, hope all finds a solution for your dad...

:(

You told a pants joke as far as I remember? If it wasn't you I apologise... But I thought it was you. Hard to keep up sometimes when working 13 hour days.

It wasn't you, it was Gumby. The dung joke. I am sorry Matt. Tiredness kills me!

^^this^^ Does this not happen in the real world? or do we not have time to notice. Do we not have time/inclination to do good things in the real world?

Dee I always do good for other people. More often than not, I get shit on... But it doesn't stop me. I feel good about helping other people. It really puts me on a high. And that is good enough for me. If I can help... I will! x

Good on you! I like helping people too.

In their news, I am full up from dinner and attempting to squeeze in an elderflower cider, which is really rather yummy :)

Jeffie, this'll probably come up as a link rather than a photo, but what do you think? I've got it as my Facebook cover photo, but you can borrow it if you like!

Edit - second one down on the right!

This sign is actually in the kids field. I don't have kids but I love to pass thru. My favourite sign says 'do not read this sign'. Awesome.

So, while I've been gardening today, I've listened to playlists I've made of the acts I've seen at each glasto I've been to. One of them was The Magic Numbers, who opened the Other stage in 2010. What was the first band everyone saw at their first glasto?

Urgh... Rolf Harris!! Loved him at the time. Utterly disgusted and horrified now!

    • Playing a bit of devils, isn't that the case for any act? If you csn get a bigger sub or or 3rd etc the next will play lower. Tbh they would probably be best headlining second so in the kinda in between slot, that would be better. Get GC on second and Avril on main subbing Friday for Blink. But I'd expect it would be Avril sub and GC second another day.

    • We head out in the morning. Couple of nights in New York then up to Boston. Enjoy the games lads and hopefully we get some great football to take our minds off the whole shitshow off the pitch.
