Reading this I feel like I'm on the hulk ride in Orlando, freaking awesome but a disappointment at the end,lol

Haven't done that ride. I love Hulk. Need to add this to my bucket list!

IMO - Foos, Kanye & Prince is a pretty disappointing set of headliners for the greatest festival on the planet.

However, for me, it's all about West Holts, Acoustic and Avalon, so not really bothered.

3 massive, pretty different acts. I'd say it's a really strong set of headliners.

Disappointing?! Wow. Some people really need to reign in their expectations each year!!!!!

Although not for everybody .. All things considered, I'd say these 3 would be the best set of headliners in many many years.

hmmm .... someone has just said something to me which suggests its not Prince, tho that could really be the result of keeping up deceptions.

But anyway, who else could it be that's be that's a massive act, a solo(ish) star, and an act they've been after for years? Give me names, people!

I know Prince is big and has a large following but I find it hard to believe that he's effectively got Glastonbury and the lineup by the bollocks for the second year in a row

If it ends up been TBC or something similar again because of him that's laughable

And there ends The Stone Roses Pyramid dream for another year... 2016 or bust

When do they have their fallow year? I thought it was every 4th year, so I was fully expecting no Glastonbury next year.

If it isn't Prince I'm at a complete loss with that description. Definitely male?

    • TVOD are playing Blue Basement in London 2/9 with a complete EOTR/Psych Fest shaped hole before their next gig in Lyon on 8/9. Well received in the Big Top last year, reckon they're nailed on for a secret set in the Tipi.
    • Didn't they widen the entrance last year to enable them to increase the number of pitches or have I imagined this? Perhaps they might return under a different form of glamping?
    • It should forever be the Tipi.   Just as the news about Geese was shared on Twitter.
    • It really surprised me that Rock AM Ring made Download feel like an extremely well organised festival with good communication in comparison. If we were to ever try either of them again we would go for IM Park and stop in Nuremberg.     Agree that the long thin mainstage isn't great, but where the mainstage is makes it really hard to navigate when it is busy because of that choke point created by the food vendors, bar/lounges with a view of main and where the crowd is coming form second stage. The concrete is hard on the joints. The front standing is a pisstake and the communication from the fest about what is happening on site other than which campsites are filling up leaves a lot to be desired. Car parks being a free for all doesn't help either.   I think it really suffers being so far from anything other than small towns/villages that lack proper public transport and Koblenz being the closest town which you can can use to get public transport to the fest being 60km away.
    • Yeah its absolutely on me that isn't think Shinia Twain was an awful choice- i get that.  Im still of the paul simon, ELO kind of thoughts but I realise things change. Im still intrigued what constitutes legend though. Robert plant played and he wasn't a legend slot- to me that would have fitted. Is it a ' comedy ' ' good time ' slot now? Comedy isn't the right word - guilty pleasure or something like that?
