Im not a Madonna fan, but the thought of her doing a hits laden set on the Pyramid (which surely she would have to do) and getting absolutely mullered and singing along to those songs you pretend you dont know, makes me feel happy

i agree, there's a lot more madonna songs that i somehow know from somewhere than Prince (of which i know like 3)

Not sure which kasabian is the most criminal. Linda or serge and Co.

I don't think being the village idiot is a crime, but Tom's probably got a few points on his license for running his dad over.

Plus Polanski turned out to be a paedo so I've more sympathy for my ears hearing being watched by Google being watched by Google than I have for him.

You didn't end up at Kasabian last year did you?

Gary Barlow has just tweeted that this weekend is going to be "'interesting'"!!!

If the announcement is this weekend, surely not them, please someone tell me they're busy/never be considered!?!?

Tour ends on the Friday so nope, looking at it in terms of dates (only dates and nothing else) they're the most likely out of pretty much anyone..

I swear every time I post this they become likelier in my mind blergh no thank you.

'fairly reasonable' just ain't good enough, though

He didn't do born in the USA which in his setlist is a bit if a rarity, other than that he did pretty much everything else. Of a 30 year plus career there's only so much he could do. I thought his setlist was immense. I am a huge fan.

Nothig in it for Taylor to sub Madonna. Why would she do it? Makes no sense. Taylor currently bigger, and yet all the headlines and publicity would go to Madonna. Can't imagine Swift (or more pertinently, her management) going for that.

Is she available on the Saturday ?

If she subbed then it would look great for her.

Massive crowd, people probably loving it and then comes the shouty bloke headliner.

Quids in

I'm sure his fans thought it was great.... That's not meant to be disparaging, just that festivals are going to be full of casual fans who would feel differently.

He probably just bought the ingredients for his latest stew and was so excited he rushed onto Twitter.

It wasn't the greatest Bruce show ive seen but that'll be because it's the only time I've seen him in a gig that's not his own crowd. It was however better than gigs I have seen on his own tour, wembley 2013 being a prime example.

Depends what you want from a springsteen gig. To me as a fan he played stuff which is classed as a rarity ie prove it and because the night which made it great for me.

Is be interested to know in a personal opinion what could have made it better. ?

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
