She's a classic sub. I was always dubious about rumours that she would... Don't see her as big enough for it (especially not when Emily has said she won't.)

aye what with the new songs not lighting the world on fire like a lot of people predicted it'd be odd for her to be given the bump up now. it might still happen, but i think she'll sub

The process of elimination continues. Swift out, Blur out yesterday. So this leaves:

Roses

Prince

Madonna

Who else?

Other than those three, outside chance of Radiohead or Rihanna? No info on them at all but nothing to rule them out

been confirmed to not be headlining Bestival like Neil thought she would so i guess her being at Glasto would make sense, despite Emily's comments

it's from a different take on Emily's comments.

"she's not headlining, but she could be".

Think about it. :D

Prince is there because he'll be headlining if he plays so that's Sunday only. He's been given Sunday and not the other potentials because there is a smidgen more to Prince than those others.

It's probably wrong, but it seems to make the most sense right now - with a little more in the background than i'm saying.

only thing dampening the Prince rumour is that Rob Da Bank has apparently said Prince isn't doing any UK fests this year. not sure how RDB would know all of Prince's schedule, but it's worth noting (although apparently not so much that he can be written off entirely)

it'd make a bit more sense if you were sat where I am, too.

Tho it's far from anything definitive.

i'll roll with it until it's proven right / wrong! thought the Prince rumours had been far too minimal this year, but here he is, at the last minute, shaking things up again :D

PS ... i've no idea why Prince had not been put on the Pyramid as a rumour from the star. No idea how that happened.

He actually was a while ago now but then it changed for some reason. I didn't even realize he was still listed as R under unknown until the other day.

If Taylor subs for anybody, Fleetwood Mac would make the most sense, given her love of Stevie Nicks... although Fleetwood Mac definitely aren't headlining, not after all that, it'd be outrageous.

    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
