I wish I could share some of this enthusiasm. If that's our lot in terms of 'name' reggae acts playing this year it's a pretty thin offering.

As said a lot before there is a very few reggae acts over the last few years, not that i've seen anyway and the wailers are a big name whether now a sort of tribute or not i guess we should take what we can get, for me anyway i'll enjoy it, any nod back to then i alright by me as i don't really listen to much new stuff, i'm a bit caught up in the 70's and 80's as far as Reggae goes . I'm a bit of a Marley / Steel pulse / Tosh period man.

It's not a tribute act at all. The lead singer isn't dressing up as Bob Marley, and as long as Aston Barrett's involved, there's still at least a connection to the original band

That was their set from a gig two weeks ago. If they do this and the sun is out then it will definately be one of the highlights of the festival

I saw them do the Legend album at The Ritz last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sunny day at Glastonbury would be perfect barring any major clashes I'd be there.

I enjoyed them more than Stone Roses at Heaton Park and so did the rest of the lads I was with. Sunshine out on West Holts with brothers cider in hand with an afternoon slot will do for me. Bliss

Just listening to David Rodigan show on six music, what Reggae artists would people like to see at Glasto? Don't know much about the genre and never really sure where to start.

The Congos were quite good last year. I enjoyed that.
