T in The Park 2015

Worth noting that the T twitter was quite active until this poster came out and they shut the f**k up quite sharpish.

Yeah i agree, they've shat it.

It's a strong lineup actually. Surprised at Noel headlining tho. Only way I can see that working is if he 'headlines' but The Prodigy close the stage.

For the first time though, the dance acts stick out like a sore thumb. Guetta and Avicii don't fit in with what else has been announced in my opinion.

I'd love it if the Prodigy played the R1 against Noel G.

The acts I'd be happy enough to watch would be...

Friday: Kasabian, Rudimental, Fatboy Slim, The Wombats

Saturday: The Script, Alt-J, George Ezra, Jessie J, The Courteeners, St. Vincent, Enter Shikari, Heaton and Abbott, Idlewild

Sunday: Noel G, The Prodigy, Stereophonics, Jamie T, Paloma Faith, Above and Beyond, Alabama Shakes, Kodaline, Clean Bandit, Modest Mouse, James Bay

So I'm happy enough so far. Obviously some of them are clashing, but it's a decent hit rate.

After the last few years I didn't think anything would get me or my mates back to T. Just stuck this on our WhatsApp group and everyone is up for going.

I think this is the lineup that will alienate the teeny boppers and get T it's proper demographic back.

teeny bobbers like avicii and guetta

    • Given the assumptions and little bits around Madonna, that BST and Paris post is probably right (few weeks later than the original post).   Just adds to the speculation that - they thought they had Madonna, and now they don't.   I can see what's gonna happen here - they end up booking Oasis and Fontaines for 2028. I don't get a ticket, and have to get out of the country + delete all socials.   That would end me if it happened and I wasn't there.
    • Looking at other Superstruct festivals this year, The Prodigy haven’t played Tramlines yet, and it’s been a while since Two Door Cinema Club have.   Those two seem likely headliners on how they tend to rotate bands.   Fontaines DC would be incredible but possibly a little too big now, Geese are having a good rise, would be great as a newer band to headline

    • I’ve secured tickets once since 2007. I’ve done 11 festivals in that time.  Thankfully I have friends with better luck!
